I make one, two, fingers..., and wave slowly. She waves back slowly and comes into her house. Porcelain stands in front of me as I was looking at her but my eyes move at his in the second he stands in front of me.
"Thanks." I told him.
"Is nothing." He shakes his head softly.
"Head into the house to clean you?" I asked with a small smile.
"Always."
He smiles a little and we both take hands as I head us into the house and the door closes behind us.
The girl with the cable under the nose: Broody Hooks. She and I were friends since Kindergarten, she was The One Without the Hair and I was Pig Cheeks. Literally, my cheeks were so fat and rosy.
And now I was sitting beside mom with my head up to the roof, making bubbles with the Coca-Cola in my opened mouth as my hair was curled down and I wore a red shirt of long sleeves that had a white line in the middle and black jeans with black shoes.
"Stop doing that." Mom says, her hand between her closed eyes. I swallow and throw a gas with my mouth shamelessly. She shakes her while I look at her with a smirk.
"Why? Does it bothers you?"
"Shut up."
"Make me."
I say and my name is called by the doctor. I roll my eyes and stand up, walking to the doctor's door. My mom looks at me with this depressed-old-look. She picks her bag over her shoulder and was walking to the doors of the place but a doctor stands in front of her.
"Ma'am you most wait for your daughter--"
"Why? God gave her two legs, she can use them."
My mother harshly replied and walked away in slow motion opening the doors. She hops into her purple car and grabs the guide tightly with her fists. Her heartbeats are at full speed in a moment and she is angry and having mixed feelings. She has my truck's back in front of her. She looks at the radio of the car and puts rock music and she gives a warrior scream and pulls forward so she breaks the back of my car in slow motion. She pulls back the car and prepares herself again and she pulls forward and breaks it again.
The people that were waiting for their turn in that office, are now looking through the window of the office and seeing the awful scene of the cars. "Are the cars...?" Grinned a man.
"Watch Game of Thrones tonight?!" Yelled a blonde woman.
"YEAH!" They all yelled and gave high fives.
I was sitting on a black chair and the doctor was in front of me. "How are you today, Marie--"
"Kathy."
"Kathy," the woman corrected herself. "how are you today?"
I looked at her. "I'm fine," my eyebrows shrugged. "like always." She nodded her head and looked down at the papers she held and up at me again.
"Is your friend Bean still with you?"
"Are you mocking of me."
"God, no. Jesus, Marie, I would never--"
"Kathy."
"Kathy," she tried to get her patience back by closing her eyes with a sigh and looking up at me again. "I would never do that."
"Oh sure, because you're a good citizen?"
"Kat..."
"No, seriously. I know what you all think. That I'm crazy. I know you think it too. Well know that...I am." My head nodded with anger and my lips crystalline.
"No, Kat. Child, no. I believe you."
"W--What?"
"Yes," she took my hands. "remember the tests you took last week?"
I stared at her without saying nothing but frowning so she could continue her sentence. "Your friend, damaged a part of your brain. It is getting rotted. You may survive but, your other brain could shut off when you'd be 80 or even earlier." She said. I stared at her. Shocked. My world gave circles. Suddenly, I felt dizzy. I couldn't breath. Bean put his hand on my shoulder and put his forehead against the side of my head and he closed his eyes, sobbing. And the doctor put me a cable under my nose. I sobbed and by the end, I found myself looking lost in front of me.
My body came into the office again and I didn't saw my mother. Anywhere. "She was making her car have sex with a truck." Smiled a pervert men.
"Fuck," I said while walking to the doors. "and thank you."
I got to the car of my mother and saw my truck was broken. "OUT!" I yelled, looking at her as her head was against the guide of her car. "OUT!" I cried out, opening the door beside her and throwing her out of her car. I sobbed as she just groaned, rubbing her left elbow.
"YOU ARE A BITCH! THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE, A MOTHERFUCKIN' BITCH WHO WAS BORN WITH A BASTARD PSYCHOTIC STRANGER!"
"What did you say?" I asked. She stared at me. "WHAT DID YOU FUCKIN' SAID?" I yelled and kicked her stomach's sides so she groaned, kicking the ground with her feet and laying on her shoulder.
"You seriously THOUGHT that he was your brother?" My mother looked at me, grinning with bloody lips. I stared at her frowning and really, REALLY confused. "He was from a friend. She was a drug dealer and fell in love with her boss. He got her pregnant and she stole his money, going away when he wanted to marry her."
"Why were you fuckin' involved?"
"Because, I wanted to have a child. A boy." She said, staring into my eyes. "By that time: you were in my belly. The doctor told me you were a girl and my heart got disappointed."
"But he died." I finished. She sobbed and cried with her eyes shut. Bean stood beside me. Looking down at her. "And I'm glad. Because you got fucked up. Oh! And one more thing: Bean HATES YOU, bitch!" I show her my two middle fingers and turn around, walking away with anger and Bean looking away with anger. No one normal could see him. But I could. And he was hiding his sadness. Everyone could know that.
My mother drags herself to the road in front of her ignoring the people that offered help to stand her up. Some would grab her hand but she would squirm and yell at them that she did not needed help and even slap their shoulders or chests and people would back away and respect her but look at her like if she was crazy.
Mother kept dragging herself till a red Jeep that was driven by red-head Mother of Broody Hooks made impact with Mom's head and it exploded. As easy as a pumpkin. Just that nothing orange came from it. Only red liquid. Like vine when it falls from a table. But--no, no--it was blood.
"Shit!" Says Broody's mother as she gets down the car in her shorts and her brown boots with a jacket of green squares and a grey top inside that jacket. "Oh my God! Esther!" She said an stared at it with worry and shock and looked around her-- it looked like all citizens of Kansas had stopped their walk to just stare at this woman's wonderful body--and face.--
"Don't you all stay there looking at my ass and fucking call 911, bitches!" She yells. Yeah, Mrs. Hooks was never going to be like her daughter. Broody was so calm and and passive. However Mrs. Hooks is the awesomeness in this world of boredom and probably the kindest slut you'll ever know in this crowd of citizens.
They all kept walking and a few searched their phones. Mrs. Hooks rolled her eyes and closed them.
Broody was standing at the door of my house with pink roses and wearing the same grey jacket she wore yesterday but with a white dress that got to her knees and some black shoes. She knocked on the door, calmly.
The door opened and Natalie was there, wearing a gray shirt without bra and some black panties with sandals and her hair curled down. "Yeah?"
"Oh! Uh, I'm looking for Kathy. Is she...is she here?"
"No. Who are you?"
"Just tell her it was Broody, her friend."
"Her...what?" Natalie did a nervous chuckle.
"Broody." Broody smiles again but uncomfortable. Natalie takes her flowers when she steps in front of Broody again. She looks at the roses and up at her. "Look, Broody," Natalie starts. Broody lifted up her chin. "didn't you had cancer? I don't see the cable under your nose."
"Oh, that. Well I don't have it anymore."
"Huh, what a miracle."
"Yeah."
"So you aren't going to die?"
"Look, I don't want problems. Just give the flowers to Kathy, okay?"
"And why flowers? Shouldn't you invite her for coffee? I mean, you disappeared! For a year!" Natalie was saying as Broody got down the principal steps and turned around when Natalie finished, yelling:
"Her mother died!"
And Natalie stopped smiling proudly. "...What?" Natalie said in a low voice.
"Her mother...is dead. My mother killed her...for accident."
"Oh my Gosh, Brooks," Natalie walks down the steps and hugs her. "I'm so sorry. I'm such a bad bitch." She says. Natalie breaks the hug and looks at her.
"Look, she's my best friend and when she told me about your history with her--I was so jealous I couldn't--"
"Is okay. We both care for her."
"Yeah...want to come into the house?" She asks with a nervous smile.
"Yeah." Broody nods and follows her into the house, letting the door close behind them so Broody jumps a little when it closes but looks in front of her only to gasp.
Porcelain was eating meat on his place. Not cooked meat. "Porcelain, we have a guest!" Smiled Natalie. He looked at them and stopped eating, turning invisible. Broody stays in shock.
"How did he...?" She aims with a finger to where he was sitting.
"Oh yeah, he found a website page with numerous spells and learnt magic by himself! Isn't that wonderful?" Natalie clapped her hands together. Broody fainted. Natalie looked at her.
"Broody?" She asks biting her upper lip in an 'oops' way. Natalie looked at Porcelain with big eyes and tilting her head to a side with her hands opened and her arms to the sides.
"S-Sorry?" Porcelain asks.
"Look, honey," she sits beside him. "you have to stop okay?"
"Mhm." He nods, sad.
"Hey, what did Kat and I told you about eating people?"
"People are good and not food."
"Exactly. Now give me that." She offered her palm and he put the plate on her palm. She smiled with her lips and kissed his cheek.
I am driving my shattered truck. Still, angry. Bean looks at me, sitting on the passenger's seat. "You shouldn't drive when you're angry." He said.
"I am not angry." I growled, stupid me.
"You just growled." He smiled.
"FUCK," I hit the truck's guide with my palm. "fuck, fuck, fuck!" I hit the guide with both palms and the truck moves to the sides till my hands grab it again and I start to drive it again in control. Bean stares at me. He kisses the side of my forehead, touching the back of my hair.
"Hey, now that we don't have a mother, what do you think about stealing a bank?" He asks and I look at him with a frown and a smile of lips that wasn't serious but then I smile and laugh.
A FEW SECONDS LATER...
"WOHOOO!" My truck broke the glass doors of the bank and I got down the car and all citizens that were inside the bank, gasped and looked at me. They couldn't see Bean but Bean was smiling too.
"Let's have some fun, shouldn't we?" I smirk and take a rifle from under my seat and a mask of Jason and start to shoot to the roof and in front of me, everybody screams and runs away. Bean sighs.
"You're really good at this." He says and I looked at my right and saw he had a Hulk mask. My eyes did the "Are you serious" look. "What? Is cool!" He says and I laugh and walk forward.
Going slowly, I get to the security cage and open its cover to reveal some numbers it has to put the password. "Easy." I put three six and it opens. Bean looks at me with big eyes. I laugh and take three hundred dollars and ran away to the car with him yelling: "Run, run, run!" And we get into the car and ran away.
The security guard from the bank was looking at me through the cameras. He frowned. Seeing me running alone and without someone. He widened his eyes.
I got home with Bean and us chuckling. We came into the house and when my body stood at the entrance, my smile widened. Broody was sitting at the couch, she waved a "hi" at me. I smiled with my lips and looked down and up again.
Soon I was on the balcony with her, under the night. "So weird, huh?" I say.
"What thing?"
"Your cancer goes, I receive a death sentence."
"You won't die."
"How do you know?"
"I feel it." She took my hand and we chuckled.
"Will you be my friend again?" She asks. I looked at her.
"Who said I ever stopped?" I asked and she chuckled and we hugged.
"By the way, I'm sorry my mother killed yours..."
"Is okay."
"See you at the funeral."
"See you at it too."
I say and she leaves, walking away. Porcelain stands in front of me, smirking. "Any plans for the funeral?" He asks and Natalie stands beside him as I looked at both of them. Bean stands beside me.
"Plenty." I smiled with my lips and looked at Porcelain. "Thanks for dragging my mom to the road. It was a good death. And thank you, Natalie, for making Broody's mother to drive that way."
Natalie smiled at me and nodded. Bean stared at her.
"Everything for you." Porcelain steps closer and kisses my forehead as I close my eyes and smile with my lips.
