"Hurry along now." Elizabeth said in a sing songy tone. Prudence was not listening she was looking in the forest as she saw a women dressed in a pail blue begin to run. She wasn't from here people among our town only wore black and white occasionally brown.

   The women ran out of sight Prudence simply looked confused who was this mystery women?

"Prudence!" Elizabeth yelled to get her attention and grabbed her face harshly. Prudence looked at her with dull eyes. Elizabeth sighed. "You never listen do you."

"Nope" Prudence said in her dull tone that was just Prudence. Prudence didn't have an accent just a dull voice and dull eyes.

  Elizabeth had an English accent when she was normal, but when she was mad she didn't have the accent. This is why Prudence could tell Elizabeth was mad.

"Whatever have fun in the town of the diseased. Your lucky non of these spread! Anyways i'll check up every week, bye." and with that Elizabeth left.

  Prudence didn't care, but what about her family. Prudence walked back to her house people were nervous and screaming on the streets. Prudence reached her house and knocked. A few hurried footsteps and talking, then the door was open.

"Prudence!" her mother said in a worried tone. "What did she say is she bluffing did she touch you."

"She touched my face that is it and nothing really. I mean she knew a few of my secrets and now she is gone and gonna check on us every week until you all die." Prudence was blunt and didn't sugar coat anything.

   Her mother turned pail at what her daughter said. If only Prudence knew what she was thinking. 

"Prudence." her mother said in a serious tone. "Please go to your room and stay there until I say otherwise." Prudence turned to the windows her eyes were stinging. Her father was talking with the three men and yelling for Prudence. That is not what scared her, it is that they were carrying shot guns and covered in blood. What had they done?!

   Prudence ran upstairs so quickly and hid under her bed. The men barged in the home she could here it all so clearly. She looked out into the hall way and took a mad dash for it. She ran into the attic. Their house was a two story so all she did was move a floorboard in the attic she could see her room. She ran to the other side and moved a floor board, from their she could see the upstairs hall way. She listened to what they said as they climbed the stairs.

"The priest ordered us to kill all livestock and that girl. He said we will live of their meat for a few days then we will take the girls body and toss it into the river with the rotten meat. Then we will eat vegetables for the rest of our lives." He said it very fast and very clear.

   Prudence was scared but right then Elizabeth crawled through the window and stopped the man right in his tracks as he went to open Prudence's room door. She smiled.

"You can't kill her remember, stupid. Also, if you lay one hand on her I will rip out your liver!" Elizabeth was sincere and left without saying anything else. Eventually the man left and Prudence went to sleep in the attic.
