Dylan and Altman celebrate their first day as cartoons.
Have you ever had an identity crisis? My first summer traveling and teaching was one of my most prominent moments in which who I was made little to no sense to me. Luckily, I made friends with Altman as he and I taught for two weeks. At the end of our two weeks, we decided to cut a rug and party. Perhaps I partied too hard. But as I surveyed the bar, I saw so many people who seemed to lack identity themselves. They say on their stools, staring down into drinks, ignoring Altman and I as we sang and danced like idiots. It was in that moment, I found myself. I am an artist. This dance was my ritual. These songs, my anthems. I know what I am!
