Song : We are young by Fun

February 3, 1943

Windows shattered, cries were heard. These were cries of fear. Fear for their life. I was truly shaking by now. Literally. Power and anger towards everything, not just Caius, blinded me as forces blew within the palace. Winds blew and clouds darkened. I darkened. I saw red. I only saw red. I soon began to scream louder. The palace fell apart, all of the debris were flying and swirling into a cyclone.

Everyone in the palace fell onto the cold ground. Onlookers watched in fear and wonder at the sight. Children screamed. Some of our Thetas were running to calm the crowd and to protect the others. My screams were probably so loud and terrifying, the whole kingdom must have heard them by now.

As I screamed the cyclone of the debris began to spin faster and faster causing enormous winds. Thunder crashed. Lighting flashed. The sky turned gray, matching my eyes, and the ground soon began to fall apart as well. Metals, dirt, debris of homes, and branches began levitating.

The sight was horrifying but wondrous to watch. My screams soon died down and the cyclone of debris, the levitating branches, debris, and metals soon swirled back into place. The palace put itself back together and everyone was back inside. It looked as if nothing could happen. As I calmed down, I turned to see my family staring at me in shock.

"Sister?" Draven's voice was small and meek.

My breathing began to increase in volume and then the world started tilting. Everything was blur. Darkness.

•

"I know we should tell her, but what will she think? She doesn't deserve such a burden."

"It's her father, she deserves the truth."

The distant voices echoed in my mind. What happened? The last thing I remembered...

Oh. I blew up the palace and everything near it, and then I put it back together. How quaint.

My head was throbbing. My vision began to blur and clear until I realized, I was in my bed chamber.

"She's awake!" The family came rushing over to me. I tried to sit up, but when I did, my head began to hurt. I fell back in pain.

"Snow! Snow, can you hear me? How many fingers am I holding up?" Archangel was rushing me with the question and he held up his hand.

My vision was still a little blurry. "Six..?" I trailed off, groggily.

"Close enough."

I felt dreary, and drowsy. Sick to the bone. Questions of confusion sped through my mind. What caused me to do that? Better yet, How did I do that? I didn't understand. I have never been able to do something like that before. Why now? Why here? I was filled with shock. I needed to find out why I did this?

"Oh good, the healer's here." Healers were the kingdom's doctors and surgeons.

The healer placed his palm on my forehead. "It appears as if the princess has used so much of energy at once, performing such a spell. She has great power."

Great power? I've never done something like that in my life! I wanted to crawl into a whole and never come out. I nearly killed everyone! That was not me. That cannot be me.

"Be sure to never provoke her enough for another explosion like that. Based on the analysis of the spell, her magic energy is quite pathokinetic. Her emotions will drive her power. Make sure she doesn't get overly angry, grief-stricken, fearful, or depressed, unless you want another explosion."

"Thank you."

The healer then packed up and left the room. I still didn't understand. I just started to feel so angry, I couldn't help it. I wanted to scream again, but then again, I didn't want to kill anyone. I was just so angry and I just... Then I noticed Caius leaving.

"Hold up! Caius, what is going on! You refuse to tell me anything! I want answers, and I want them now!"

Then I noticed them shaking. Whimpering. On their knees. Caius, Dominic, Lucius, and all of my brothers were on their knees. Draven looked as if he was going to scream like a female. I've never seen Draven frightened before. I didn't want to scare them. What was going on?

"What are you all staring at..." I stared at my skin, it was glowing red! I turned to the mirror and saw my body surrounded by a contour a flaming purple fire. Purple fire!

I screamed. Again. My legs gave out below me and I fell to the ground, crying. Sobbing hysterically.

"Ryland, what's happening to me."

"I don't know sister. I wish I knew, but I don't."
