It feels like when there’s an inter-species conflict in fantasy stories, the humans are often the ones who initiate it. That, or they destroy the natural habitat of the other species. Thankfully the elven deity gave them a home that can’t easily be invaded.
It’s understandable why Serenity wouldn’t want to help outsiders after what happened to her people.
