Molly is a 17 year old girl who lives with her stepfather. She has been adopted many times, and has gone through absolute hell to find a good home. Her parents were found dead, her mom in a river from jumping off of a nearby bridge, and her father had overdosed on sleeping pills with alcohol.
Her parents never got along when she was young, and her father was verbally and physically abusive. She got put into the foster care system just before she turned 5.
Now, in hopes of finding a heavenly place, she does the 6:60 ritual. If you wake up at least two minutes before 7:00 am, if by accident or by alarm, and the clock turns to 6:60 instead of 7:00, then the portal is opened. Only people with certain....qualities can pass through. She has six minutes to travel there, by going into the bathroom, lighting a candle, and at 6:65, she must enter her closet, shut the door, and blow out the candle.
Waiting in the closet, she hopes that the rumors of this heavenly paradise are true....
...but what if it's something else?
