~ 5 years after The Trial ~
Dragon 3 : "Dragon 1, do you copy?"
Wolf : "Dragon 1, I copy. What's the problem?"
Dragon 3 : "I noticed some disturbances in sector 11."
Wolf : "You've got to be kidding me! The sector full of SSS Class Haunted's, you know I hate those guys!"
Dragon 3 : "I'm afraid I'm not kidding sir!"
Wolf : "In any case, return to Atlantica and warn the king."
Dragon 3 : "Yes sir!"
Wolf had taken Stefan and Fabian to join him on his patrol to sector 11. They had set out on their Glaive's, the first thing that surprised Wolf was the fact that the disturbances D3 had spoken about is not there. Wolf and his companions had gone through sector 11 4 times and nothing had shown up. They returned home and set up a patrol plan with the guards.
With the plans for the patrol finished, Wolf went back home. As soon as He arrived home, he went to bed and tried having a good night sleep. Tomorrow he has a harsh training session after all, but a good night sleep isn't exactly what happened.
As soon as he had fallen asleep a nightmare had begun.
He was alone in a sort of ruin, almost as if it was Atlantica. It turned out it didn't just look like Atlantica, it was Atlantica. Wolf was shocked at the state everything was in, he went around looking if anyone was still around and then he noticed something. The barrier was gone and with everything destroyed Wolf went to the temple in hope of seeing the soul crystal intact.
Sadly there was no soul crystal, instead there was a unique knight.
It was jet black with white line or would markings be a better word? The more disturbing part about this knight was that there were cracks in it's left arm, leg chest and even the head. Not only the cracks but also the part that it was holding up the roof of the ruined temple, as if it tried to protect it.
Wolf came closer to the knight in hope of learning more about it, that's when it activated. Blood red energy coming through the cracks in it's armor, the eye's glowing, a mark appearing on the chest.
At that moment Wolf felt something burning into his chest and he woke up screaming.
His sister Seraphine came running in wondering what was wrong, but all Wolf could say was "Please don't kill me."
Seraphine was worried and then she saw a mark. A mark that Wolf never had on his chest.
Seraphine tore off Wolf's shirt to look at the mark, it was pitch black with a red and white glow to it.
Seraphine stayed with Wolf the rest of the night to calm him down and comfort him.
In the morning Wolf had slightly recovered, but you could feel that he was definitely not alright.
Seraphine decided she would watch the training session Wolf was going to have, in it he is supposed to fight off 10 elite soldiers of the royal guard.
Wolf activated his Dragon Knight (An elite fighting unit made purely on the purpose of destroying the enemy) and went to the arena, where his opponents were waiting for him in Quadron Knights (heavily armored units made to defend against a volley of attacks).
The fight has commenced, Wolf takes offensive action and quickly sends out a volley of attacks on forward line of his opponents. This had no effect however, a few scratches at most.
What Wolf did not expect was that he was surrounded by the royal guard in no time.
The moment the guard attacked a black cloud surrounded Wolf's unit, followed by an explosion.
Seraphine feared for her life that Wolf might have died in that explosion, the part's from Wolf's Dragon Knight were flying around the arena.
After a few minutes the black cloud dispersed and a Jet Black Knight became visible. It looked fearsome enough to make the royal guard dash back 10 meters.
Then the Jet Black Knight activated, it's eyes a blood-like red. There were no cracks on this Knight unlike the one in Wolf's nightmare.
One of the royal guard made a slight movement which hinted out offensive action and suddenly the Jet Black Knight vanished. It had appeared behind the moving guard, that guard was annihilated in an instant. Not even a movement was seen of the Black Knight, he was standing in the exact same pose in a different location. It was only when the remaining royal guards attacked that we could see some movement from the Jet Black Knight, it drew 2 swords and cut every single opponent to pieces in seconds.
Seraphine couldn't believe her eyes, the royal guard were undefeated and yet they were nothing to this Knight.
After eliminating the royal guard the Jet Black Knight stopped moving and stood still for about an hour before disappearing back into a black cloud. Wolf was laying there after the dispersion of the cloud, as if he was inside that Knight.
Seraphine brought Wolf back to his quarters and had multiple doctors examine him, but all they could say is that he was exhausted.
She went to the temple and prayed for his safety, that's when she received a mark of her own.
But this mark was a little different from Wolf's, it was white with a blue and black glow to it.
She found it rather scary, since it looked as if she was an enemy of Wolf.
She remained at the temple until sunset and then returned home to sleep, only so she could have a similar nightmare!
