The world cannot bear a straight answer
The thing its harder now more than ever, to get a straight, simple, clear, precise answer on anything from anyone. The world simply won't tolerate it. In these times I can't not think about this quote by Richard Feynman.
"We can’t define anything precisely. If we attempt to, we get into that paralysis of thought that comes to philosophers one saying to the other: “you don’t know what you are talking about!”. The second one says: “what do you mean by talking? What do you mean by you? What do you mean by know?"
It's not really that the world cannot bear a straight answer, but that most people demand a straight answer while, at the same time, every one of them understands the same words differently, no matter how simply put an idea would be.
