To Shizuo

“Kill, kill, kill…” Shizuo could only say that right now. Carissa follows behind unsure of what to do right now. Once they get back to the house Shizuo starts pacing back and forth trying to get rid of the anger. Carissa feels like this is her fault right now.

“Shizu-kun?” He looks at her with his best attempt to not glare. “I-I’m sorry if I did something wrong…” Shizuo softens up at her apology. He leans down and kisses her forehead.

“No, I’m sorry. You shouldn’t’ve been dragged into this in the first place. It was the reason I was worried to adopt you.” Carissa’s eyes fill with tears. Was he going to get rid of her now. No way! She would never except that. “But I just want to protect you now, you deserve better but you wanted me to take care of you. I accepted and now I won’t be able to get rid of you. It’ll hurt too damn much.” She cries as he speaks his words of comforting. “As your guardian I will protect you, so just be careful and if you get caught in the fray like that again, stay away. Alright?” Carissa nods and hugs him. Shizuo hugs her back.

“Thank you, I love you.” Shizuo smiles at that.

“I love you too, Carissa.” They stop hugging and look at each other with a smile. “Now what do you want to eat today?”

To Izaya

Izaya was trying to sleep but couldn’t get that little girl out of his mind. What was her name again? Carissa. The girl who was crying then smiling then sad and then taken away. The one who made his heart flip and hurt in one conversation.What’s wrong with me? She’s just another human I can play with. I can’t keep on thinking like this. Izaya gets up and looked into the mirror at himself.

God I feel like shit. That question Carissa asked him popped into his head. “Was it fun?” Izaya felt angry with himself. Of course it was fun! Wasn’t it. I wouldn’t’ve done it otherwise. Right? He started second guessing himself. “I had fun! I know I did.” He thinks back to all those times he’s messed with Shizuo and out of nowhere he felt a pang in his heart. He felt sad...hurt. He couldn’t stop thinking about that little girl, her question and Shizu-chan.
