"When it started, there were seven.

The three Blessed Blades: Carrion, Stone, and Wing.

The two Blessed Barrels: Warp and Hatred.

The two Blessed Barriers: Cinders and Smoke.

All created by one, all wielded by one. They wre invincible. He was invincible. Called the Conqueror, he overtook all and ruled all with an unbending power none could contend.

However, old age was not his friend, and having been denied his due in lives, he took his due from his tansgressor instead. The Conqueror passed on in his sleep. His Blessed atefacts were rerieved by a common thief, willing to take a risk. However, this thief had honor. Honor enough to know what to do. He took the artefacts, and placed them in the seven corners of the world. The power leaked from the hidden weapons, and the civilizations around them grew strong. They built massive monuments, great empires, and propagated numerous colonies. Each society begat a champion. One stronger than any other of his or her kind. Each was told to seek the artefact within the monument that lay at the heart of their empire: the Blessed Fragment. Each to his own, they found it, and it gave them power. However, the power became their curse. Each to his own, and it owned them, surely. This became their life. If it were ever to be lost, their life would follow.

Old age did not dog them, but left them be. They brought peace, and calm. Ages of prosperity came and visited, then called at another doorstep.

Some grew complacent. Some grew restless. Some were content, some were wont for more. Neither knows who begat the change, but all knew at that moment that Hades could hold the Conqueror no more.

He burst forth from the fires of Hades, roaring his revenge. He would have the Blessed Fragments back, and rule all once more.

The champions came to fight. Some to protect the ones they loved, some to prevent toal destruction, some to simply fight for war's sake.

Of the Bessed Blades: Carrion, the ripping cleaver, Stone, the steadfast mover, Wing, the graceful glider.

Of the Blessed Barrels: Warp, the racing distortion, and Hatred, the vengeful sinner.

Of the Blessed Barriers: Cinders, the burning rage, and Smoke, the fleeting visage.

They united. All against one. However, the discord among them caused a misalign. The misalign threatened to swallow them, as did the Conqueror."

"S...so what happened, Grampa?"

"What do you think, Ash?"

"I think it's just a story."

"Oh, you'll know more, when you'll older. Perhaps you'll figure out the end of the story."

"...You're weird sometimes, Grampa."
