There's always that difficult situation where you feel like your obligated to help someone because of pity and other times you do it out of guilt. I'm still learning how best to handle situations like this but I am learning that in the end of it all I have to think about what's also best for my mental well being. It's hard to give a cut and dry answer on how to handle these things but you just have to keep trying and you'll make mistakes but you have a chance to also learn from those mistakes.
