-What do you need those for? - Clover said with a distrusting sight. - No plans on stabbing us, right?

Pond shook her head, but kept getting the objects in a plastic bag that floated towards them. - We just need defence.

-You really are killing the planet with this little thing. - She sighted twisting the filled bag around. - But I have to admit it is useful in times like this.

-Humans suck!- Blaze said in a funny and joking tone, but Pond nodded sadly while wispering how he was right.

As the sun hit the middle of the sky, making their shadows small circles under their feet, Pond offered to start the walk to the other side and the Souls agreed. Lavender started forgetting she was being led by a girl 4 years younger than her and who had been dead for over two hundred years.

Unsurprisingly, the trip took a quarter of a day and that was not even the half of the island. There was a long way to go, and they had not rested, or at least slept, in more than 3 or 4 days. Maybe they couldn't even sleep, but what kind of afterlife would ban such a pleasure?

In a fifth of a second, the kids got hold of what they could and piled it up into a squishy and soft mountain of extra clothes and bags. The band got into her Shelter for around half an hour and came back with questions, which Clover thanked and Blaze really thanked.

-I kept those in my pile for cases like this. Interesting and nice stuff is kept inside there- She pointed at her hurdles

-Do you have some matches there? Itmwould be cool to light a fire at night- Lavender pointed at the sun, which was close to the horizon.

Pond shook her head.
