Ha, Ha, I think the first time I read this, I actually read that speech all the way through, but, now that I've reread your comic (the part that's finished, anyway) so many times, I usually end up just skimming over this part. I guess that means it worked pretty well, since, as I understand it, it's kind of supposed to be a bit tedious to read. : )
