Pierce was fucking pissed. There was no doubt about that. He was so pissed off at me for asking that kid Eddie to get his mate that he was ignoring me and growled at me every time I tried to help him with something.

I touched his forehead to check his temperature, he snarled and grabbed my wrist.

"Don't touch me. I'm fine."

"You are burning up, you have a fever, you are not fine."

"Whatever, don't touch me."

"You know what, Fuck You. I hope they find and shoot you again, this time I hope they hit a better spot."

I turned and left the cave. I sat outside and the rain that had started this morning drenched the clothing I had on and the cold became nearly bone chilling. I was frustrated.

Footsteps could be heard from a little while away and I turned to see Eddie and a much taller built man that power flowed off of in waves walking out of the thicker Forest. This was the Alpha. The one who had bit, Pierce.

He scanned me up and down. He sniffed the air and let out a deep chuckle.

"So it is true, Pierce Mattews is the one I turned almost six years ago."

I could hear Pierce growling from inside the cave. He really wasn't happy now, fuck sakes. The alpha walkers over to me and sniffed me.

"You're still bleeding from that wound, let me see it."

"Don't Fucking Touch My Mate."

I turned and looked to see Pierce standing in the cave opening if you could call what he was doing standing. I rushed over and tried to get him to get back into the cave but he snarled at me and shoved me away from the best he could.

"Don't touch your mate but you won't look at his wound either."

"My Mate Is Not Your Concern."

"He is my concern when he's bleeding out on my land and you're not even bothered to look."

I rubbed my forehead and shivered from the cold.

"Let's take this conversation into the cave, I'm freezing." I said softly.

We all walked inside and I stripped the wet clothing off of me. A blanket was wrapped around me harshly.

"Don't just get naked like that." Pierce snarled.

I let out a huff of breath and moved to sit down with the blanket wrapped around me. Pierce shoved me basically behind him away from the Alpha.

" I brought you some pills, I brought some food as well," Eddie said softly.

"Thank you. I'm very grateful for that."

"You're more than welcome."

The Alpha unpacked his bag that held clothing and bandages. He handed me some shorts. I slipped them on and walked over past Pierce and dropped the blanket, The alpha looked at my wound and grabbed some wipes with disinfectant on them and ran it over the wound. I let out a growl and flexed my fingers into a fist over and over until he bandaged the wound.

"Thank you."

"No problem, you should heal now."

"Please check on Pierce."

"Not Fucking Likely" Pierce snarled.

The Alpha stood up and walked over to Pierce. Pierce tried to hide his discomfort with he alpha but I could smell the anxiety rolling off him like a thick smoke.

"Let me see your wound." The Alpha said using his alpha voice on Pierce.

Pierce with shaky hands removed the t-shirt he had on and let the Alpha see the wound. The Alpha cleaned the wound and bandaged it. He touched Pierce's forehead making him flinch.

"You have a bad fever, I do believe you should be taken to my pack the both of you, to heal and recoup."
