I do get these sometimes and I do not get how its supposed to make me feel good about my art ? Rather people should give constructive criticism or an ACTUAL compliment and never EVER degrade yourself infront of an artist really .

I so feel with this. Getting such a comment makes me feel like I failed. I think you'd need to be some big jerk to actually enjoy such a comment. How one could ever be happy that someone felt so belittled by their art that they never want to draw again?
Art is not about performance, it's not about being good, it's only about expressing ourselves, and this is one of our most fundamental rights. We come to the world and we cry, it's objectively-speaking not a very pretty sound, but eventually we learn to speak, and hopefully speak our minds, and it doesn't matter that we do it with lyricism or rude words so long as we can convey what we mean to say somehow. Sometimes we don't even speak aloud, we just think. Art is just that. Sometimes you do it for yourself, sometimes for sharing with others. It's like speaking without your mouth (unless you're a singer).
