not really, playing a video game was never a waste of time, depending on what you play, and while i dont like overwatch, if it is fun for you then it is worth the time.
lets compare this to learning to play an instrument, sure people will be all like yo, learning to play a violin is "better" than becoming good at a certain competitive game, but then again thats just because its something you can preform to amuse them, while playing a game can only be fun to you and those who enjoy said game if you do it very well.
both scale with talent and require dedication and practice x3
