While soaking in my bath Hemera bust threw my room doors straight to me. With paper and books all over my floor as she rush to me the maids picking up forgotten papers while calling her name.

"Nyx, Nyx look at all these wedding robes I seen in magazines!" She said as bubbly as ever. " I don't think this is a great time as I'm in the bath." I said monotone while relaxing deeper in the tub. "But they fit you so well just have a look!" She shove the book that fit her more than me. They was all of that of bright pinks and yellows just making feel horrible.

"I will choose my own wedding robe okay so go to school and get out of my bathroom please." I said as I slowly got out and the maids dried me off. "FINE be that way!" She then stomped away and out of my room as I get ready.

Elizabeth helped me put on my black with purple  and muted pink sakura flowers robe on. She helped comb my hair and pin it up then perfumed me with white sakura on my neck then on my arms. Put on the heels and got ready for breakfast. Walking down the stairs as the maids carefully hold my sleeves. I then see Erebus at the end of the steps with my whole family seeing them talk before his attention turned to me. At the last step he grab my hand and helped me down.

Giving a small thank you to him as he bow his head as to acknowledge the thank you. His eyes was that of coldness and no life but to me I seen a familiar feeling of me in them. His touch was cold but with a feel of little of life left in them. Hair was the same color of my math teacher but that of a dark night with no stars to light up the sky.

"Why are you here?" I thought we should get to know each other better so how about breakfast?" I have classes today." Then mother butt in like always. "I tell them you couldn't come . GO!" She then edge us out of the house while Erebus have a hold on my hand helping me down the stairs.

He open the car door for me and helped me push my robes in then he walked to the other side and sat beside me with a smile. He told the diver the restaurant then we pulled away from my home. When we arrived he opened my door like a gentleman and hold my hand to step out. We grab everyone attention when we walked in people whispered and belittled us as we walk to our private room.

Erebus pulled out my chair for me then pushed it up. As he walked to his chair you could see his terrifying power he walked as he have no fears as he have no weaknesses as he have nothing to live for. But he smiles as he have the whole world in his hand in his control. But I wonder if he really does if he do then he is truly a terrifying warrior.

" So what would you like to eat?" I take some siglino with koulouri and some thyme honey for something to drink I take some Bouvou ." You like tea?" That's is basically what all I drink it's very relaxing." He shook his head as a note to say he is listening. Sitting in silence for awhile having nothing to talk about. But it wasn't awkward at all felt more like I know him for months.

He then spoken up." Seem like a lot of people are scared of you." I'm use to it. It's because I'm not as bright and sparkly as Hemera." You shouldn't be use to it." But I'm. enough about me how about you Monster Duke?." I said with a little smirk

"It's my job to be a monster. When you deal with people who question your ability to do things you develop some traits that then become a part of you." At least your not getting compared to your younger sibling." I'm getting compared to my Father." Oh even worse it must be." You have no idea."

Our food then arrived on silver plates served with grace. The waiters sit the plates down with carefulness not to touch anything they left shaking.

While we eat we share a few quick chats. Some with laughter some with sadness but mostly about family.

"Sorry about my sister being rude to you yesterday." Oh it's fine I'm use to it." No she should not ignore you that was very disrespectful." I will then accept your apology Nyx."

"So when will we have the wedding?"

Whenever you want to I'm fine with anything." If you're not too busy while you help me with the wedding?" I would love to but why not your family?" If I did I would have no opinion in anything it be my Mother and Hemera wedding." Oh I understand now I will gladly help then." Thank you." Not be weird or anything.."

He stop himself from finishing his sentence but he looked like he really want to say it."

"You can say it I won't be scared out." Why aren't you terrified of me?"

I know this was going to come up I smiled a small smile then looked straight in his eyes and said.

"I believe we are one of the same we both have struggles but won't let them be seen. We both been called monsters in our jobs. We both are hurting people just don't see under this masquerade we both wear all too well." Well I always wanted a Monster Wife." He said with a smile. "I'm willing to be Monster as long it's with you." Well my Monster Wife you ready to go shop for a ring." Yes my Monster Husband." We laughed as we walk out of the private room and out of the restaurant.

We arrived to the ring shop he still being a gentleman. Helping me out even then people still whispered about us. Erebus opened the door for me and escort me inside of a big room filled with sparkling lights and rings. With a huge chandelier in the middle of the room. There was a man standing behind the counter looking at the rings like they were his children.

"Ah Erebus were have you been I thought you forgotten about me!" He tried to hug Erebus but he just back away and the man fell onto the floor with a groan." How could you!!?I almost injured my money maker!." The only thing that make money in here is the rings." Erebus said in a monotone voice as he fixing the wrinkles in his suite.

The man then stand up and turn his attention to me. He looked at me up and down then his eyes widened when it clicked in his head.

"You how do you know her.!?" He whispered to Erebus but it was more like a loudmouth trying to be quiet.

"You heard I'm getting married right." Yeah?" She is the wonderful woman who choose to marry me." Hugh!!" He shouted then everyone who was in the castle of rings looked at us. He said a quick apology and looked back to us.

"Really!?" Yes really now!?, Do you have the ring I ask you to prepare?" Here you go."

He reached underneath the glass and pulled out two beautiful rings. "This a Blue Round Diamond Lotus Flower Engagement ring custom made just for you Miss Nyx. With an second ring to complete the matrimony of the two lives that is coming together."

He showed me how the second ring complete the lotus flower. Fitting perfectly how marriage is for two people. Erebus then got a call that pulled me out of my state of think about my life. "I go take this outside continue explain the rings."

He then left talking on his phone.

"Ah I never introduced myself Lady Nyx." I'm that Duke brother Eros nice to meet you." Oh I'm sorry for not knowing you Sir Eros." Oh I'm not a sir yet am younger than him so after he give the title up I be the next-generation. “So you guys have other older brothers? "A lot more Gaea and Tartarus. They both were the Dukes before Erebus I think you will meet them at the party tonight." The party is tonight at our house." Thank you for telling me." I wonder what dress should I wear?" You actually worry about stuff like a normal girl.!" Just because I don't show myself to the world doesn't mean I don't worry about stuff." Why are you like that?" Isn't sad that you get hurt so much that you can finally say " I'm use to it"."

Before he can say something Erebus walked in with his world winning smile that a lot of people fearful of. "You two had a nice conversation.' Yes brother I learned a lot about her she is not how they say." I accept the marriage." So this was a test?" I said then Erebus said " No he just wanted to see who I was getting married to. He could seen me at the party tonight." Well I had to give you this ring why not do it now and not later." Hum."

I then roll my eyes at him trying to be cute.

"We got to go choose you a beautiful robe for tonight party darling." You have to choose a suite too darling." I said the same to mock his way of saying darling."  Okay lovebirds get out of my store." See you tonight Eros."

We then walked out to repeat the same steps of going to a store. We arrive and he helped me step out but I questioned his ways." Way do you always help me Erebus." I use to get hit across the head if I didn't open the door for my Mother. "So you was a little devil?" Not a little one. " I laughed as he take his hand to walk to the store.

As we enter two people ran to Erebus. "Mr. Erebus how may we help you today? "I'm looking for a formal robe for my wife." He then looked at me.

It felt really weird to hear someone call me their wife. The only thing I hear is Sister look at this Nyx do this go do this for Hemera. Really felt nice to be called something else.

"Please come this way." They then showed us to the fabric. They had rows of colored fabric all of the colors in order. Hung with the hand draw designs showing. The room air dry a little to keep the fabric in perfect condition for storing. "Miss Nyx please choose a fabric you love to wear." They showed Erebus to a couch to sit down as he wait for me he got phones calls and handle business. Must be hard being a Duke of Monsters. I laughed a small quiet one as I look at all the bright colored fabrics. Running my fingers along as I walk seeing no blue black or red fabric just bright pinks whites and all colors Hemera wear.

"Do you have anything others won't wear?" Yes Miss Nyx we bring it right away." They then rush to the back room as I walk back to Erebus to sit beside him." Choose anything Nyx?" No they all have bright colors I don't wear." Should we leave?" I ask to see things others would not wear." Your really unique Nyx." Why is that?" You do things other girls are scared to do." While I take that as a compliment." Then the employees came holding a white fabric with a sakura tree going complete down to the end of the fabric to the sleeves. The tree had white and red flowers on the branches. It white fabric ombre to a dark plum then to black.

It was perfect for me I walked to fabric to get a closer look at the small details. "We need to measure you Miss Nyx." Okay come let's go try it on." I walk to the room to try on the wonderful fabric getting excited but hiding inside myself.

It took awhile for the employees to fit the fabric around me. Even if one wrinkle showed they started over from the beginning say " Miss Nyx should not have a single wrinkle!" When I didn't really mind a wrinkle here and there. "Almost finish Darling?" Erebus said in his mocking tone. "I'm done Darling." I said the same to mock his way of saying darling.

They then open the curtain and reveal me to Erebus. He stop rubbing his head and his attention turned to me. He looked shocked at first but then his mouth craved a grin. He got up from the sofa he been in from the beginning and walked over to me.

His tall frame slowly walked over without any hesitation. His eyes locked on mine as he finally stop in front of me and pulled out a necklace and put it on me.

As he close the distance to close the necklace . I felt his steady heartbeat to his steady breath against my ear it tickle. "Stay still." I hold my laughter at his deep voice so close to my ear.  He pulled away from me and looked closely at my face like he memorizing my face as if he won't see me. He push away some hair from my face to behind my ear.

"So how I look?" Wonderful more than wonderful Intoxicating the more I look the more I get intoxicated ." Why aren't you smooth talker." It's the truth." Then I wonder what is my sister." Nothing compared to you she just cute. There are no words to describe your beauty."  Why thank you then?" I looked down at the floor shy at the words no one ever said something so cheesy sweet to me it was always Hemera.

He then turned me around to look in the mirror  showed me how I look in the fabric.

"What color should my tuxedo be?" A light brown one." Tie?" A dark color would do. "We went back and forth while we look in the mirror at each other. His tall figure standing over me with his dark eyes that had a small spark in them. He push a piece of my falling hair behind my ear and smiled afterwards.

"Ready to go home?" Yes I need to rest before the party." I tell the driver to come as you change." Okay." He then walked away as I go back in the changing room.

Arriving home he opened the car door for me and escort me to my door. And knocked on the door waiting for the maid to open and give the box to. The maid open the door with a respectable greeting and took the box.

"See you tonight Nyx." You too." We both said are goodbyes and went our different ways.
