My eyes opened slowly. I could feel that my surroundings are cold and abandoned. I stood up carefully as I was fully awake. It turns out, the experimentation room is abandoned. But there is only so little of light, so I couldn't see much.
I walked around for a while. Every time I walk, I feel cold. I saw something shining to a nearby metal table. Strange... I walked towards the table and saw a shining key. I picked it up by the time my hands are not hesitating. It's pretty heavy, but I didn't mind.
I saw a vent that could be an opening escape. It seems that it needs a key. I look at the key and pushed it through its hole. It makes a clicking sound. Yet the sound echoed loudly.
I removed the vent's door and began to crawl my way out. I don't know what happened, But that's the reason why I am trying to find my way out. This lab is pretty big, so this means that the vent wouldn't be my escape out of the lab yet.
As I reached the end, it turns out that my theories were correct. I am in the West wing of the lab, so that means I need to make my way to the South wing. I saw the doorway that leads to the South wing, but unfortunately, it was blocked with rubber and debris. Some electrical cords, I must add.
The South wing is always my easy way out, but since this is a big issue, I must find another way out.
I went to the North wing and saw some scattered papers. These are the documents of some of their experiments and chemical reactions. I picked up one of them by particular to see if this has anything to do today.
I couldn't read much, since there are some blue powder covering it permanently. But from what I could make out is 'Chemical reaction gone wrong' and 'unknown radiation'.
It may not be much, but I understood what it meant. One of the scientists must have made another chemical to test something, and once they took a wrong turn, it began to spread around the area with its 'unknown radiation'.
I set the paper down and looked for clues. I saw another document that caught my interest, so I picked it up. Luckily, it wasn't covered with something.
[We have to evacuate. The radiation is absolutely abnormal! whoever is around it, they will pass out and never wake up from your calling. I have left my son without realizing it. However, I cannot waste time. This will be my final words. non e st......]
That was the only information I could ever get. My father left me without realizing it. However, he seems to leave a Latin message. From what I could tell, it means 'They exist'.
