So when I was in elementary, our music teacher asked everyone to tell the class who their musical inspiration was, and I just went for it and said "tom and Jerry". I gained some laughter from the class but whether they believe me or not, This show was what made me love classical music and it's ability to convey humor even without the words.

Oh yes, I totally agree! Yep, as a kid Tom & Jerry was one of my favs. And those cartoons, along with Disney, thrived in the classicals!
