After Agatha explained using the first game, she shuffled the deck again; Shore's eyes lit up like magic.
"Miss, you think you can beat me?"
"Oh, I know!" Shore's toothy grin alluring...
"Very well you start." Agatha gestured.
Face up was the "Joker" picking it up shore shuffled rearranged some cards before placing down her whole hand except for the joker and throwing it back on the 'pile'.
"I win!" Shore beamed.
"Lucky is all! I'll shuffle better this time!" Agatha shuffled again making sure to shuffle in different ways to get the cards mixed up properly. Shore gleamed in excitement!
Picking up her seven cards, Agatha to start. Picking up a fresh card from the deck Agath switched it out with the King of Hearts throwing it on the pile which Shore picked up putting out her hand and throwing out her remaining card, a Joker...
"How is it possible for one person to have so much luck!" Agatha asked not even shocked! They continued to play another seven games, never going past 2-4 rounds before Shore would win.
"Hello!" A lady stepped to the desk, her big round glasses still perked on her nose, her phone in her hand with a small hand held purse. Shore's eyes though fixed on the phone casing... Diamonds were set in the casing of silver...
"Good Afternoon, how may I help you Agatha answered, as the lady was standing by her side of the desk. Shore not minding at all! She licked her lips with one train of thoughts on her mind only!
Thoughts like "How is it that these rich stuck-up snobs would pay for such trinkets just because they can?"; "Wonder when the next the 'thief' would strike?"; "Why has it been so quiet lately" and "Maybe I should sneak away..." was where her mind went blank. Looking out the large panorama window, she sighed, the sea was calling her to go have fun! Sparing a final glance at the cellphone the woman had carelessly placed at an arms length away, behind her sight fixated on the papers she glanced through and would sign to book her room...
