September is usually the most hated month for students since the summer holiday ended and they needed to attend school again.

The same goes for Jody.

‘Bye Mom.’ Jody said to a portrait of a beautiful young lady on the wall, and left her apartment with grumpy footsteps. She opened the door and glare of sunlight hit on her face.

‘Oh my god it IS SO HOT!’ Jody cursed. ‘It is certainty not a good sign for the new semester. Maybe we will all get melted. I wonder how this semester is going to be like hell.’

She started walking along the slight slope leading to her school.

Yes, Jody lived near her school and it was just a 7-8-minutes walk from her little tiny apartment where she lived with her father. Jody had been so familiar with this route to the school which she described as ‘the kingdom of boredom’.

It seems just normal that most of 14-year-old girls would describe school as that.

It took almost 10 minutes for Jody to finally reached school maybe due to the heat or maybe due to the magnetic field from the school driving her away in this first day of school. Finally, the enormous building entered her sight.

‘Hi Jody!’ a voice shouted and it nearly shocked Jody.

‘Oh Sarah~. I knew you are happy seeing me but you do not need to bark do you?’

‘Nah. We haven’t seen each other for more than a month already. How are you? You looked not so glad.’

‘Well yea, it is the first day of school, it is hot, and I have a weird dream yesterday.’

‘Weird dream? A mad prince proposed to you? Or a you proposed to a mad prince riding on a green horse?’

‘OK thanks for your creativity Sarah.’ Jody turned her face into the ‘-__-‘ emoji and showed her best friend an OK sign. ‘I think we shall check which class are we in this school year, or else we’re gonna be late.’

‘Fine. This way.’
