I stopped packing everything and just settled for running with a bag of clothing and Zee's stuff.

With Zee in my one hand and the bags in the other I threw open the door and two male wolves were sitting on my porch.

" We are sorry to inform you the alpha has said you are not aloud to go anywhere."

Shit. I turned and high tailed it back into my house. I needed someone to talk to about this and my mother was not someone I could talk too.

Zee's father however was someone I could talk to. Besides I was supposed to call him two days ago.

I dialed his cell number and prayed his mate wouldn't answer the phone. The gods must of answers my prayers because he picked up the phone.

" Is there a reason you are calling me two days late, have you any idea how I worried about you and Zee. "

I ignored his questions and spilt the beans.

" I'm in a bit of trouble...."

" What do you mean your in a bit of trouble? Are you not safe? Is our son safe? Are you okay? "

"The house your mate helped me pick is on wolf territory and they have been here the last two days and that's not even the worse part their alpha is my mate------"

"You found your mate? How is that bad? It's good for you."

"Yeah maybe but how would you like our son served up on a silver plate. Wolves don't take kindly to mates with children that are not their own. And I can't even leave to get him to safety, the stupid wolf has guards on my fucking porch so I don't leave."

" That sounds like he knew you run, he knew he scarred you."

" How could he not scare me, he starred at zekial like he was a fucking alien. I was waiting for him to tear my child apart."

Some how Zee's father convinced me not to runaway and stay. He told me I needed to set boundaries with the alpha wolf and make it clear to him that if he couldn't accept my child he wasn't allowed around.

I sat up all night.

Zee didn't sleep well all night either, he had a fever and didn't have medicine for him. It was quite a long stretch but I had to ask.

I walked to the door with breakfast for both the wolves, maybe if I bribed them they would get medication for my poor sick baby.

They looked shocked but took the breakfast nonetheless. After the first male finished eatting I spoke.

" I know that this is alot to ask but I don't have fever reliever. I can give you money, I can't go get it that is clear. Please I beg you. "

" You need it for your cub? He cried all night we heard the poor little one, I will get it for your cub."

The other wolf Raleigh and I sat on the porch as I held zee rubbing his back. My poor child was burning up.

A car pulled up the driveway and the Alpha and a smaller women stepped out of the car, she smelt of medicines.

" Is he okay? Nick said your cub is ill, he said a fever. I brought the pack doctor, may she look over your cub?"

The alpha watched my eyes. I nodded and opened the door for them to come in. I handed my cub to her and tried not to freak out.

" I think we need to talk. I didn't mean to scare you last night mate"

"Celeo ( Sea - Low)"

The alpha looked confused for a moment, then seemed to get that it was my name.

" Abebrem (Abe - breh- m)"

" I will only say this once, if you can't accept my child then you might as well reject me now, I will not serve my child up on a silver plate to you"

He looked stunned and he started to laugh.

" You think.... haha.. you think i would eat your cub? Where did you get such a horrible sounding idea"

"I saw the you starred at him last night--------"

"Silly cat, I was allowing my wolf to see through my eyes and see your cub."

"And?" I asked curiosity again getting in the way.

" He accepted your cub as our own. "

We left the kitchen and walked back into the living room, the beta was once again holding my cub.

" Why is it every time you pop up you have to hold my cub?"

"No idea he's just cute and adorable."

I walked over and took my cub and you could have sworn that the beta let out a whine. My own ears had to be deceiving me.

The alpha all but scooped zee from my arms and held him against his chest.

" His father must have blue eyes, he had tiny specks of blue in his eyes but other wise they are green like your own. "

" His father has blue eyes yes.... but I care not to speak of his father."

The one wolf nick laughed before I heard him whisper

" Yeah that's why you were on the phone taddling like a child about what the alpha did."

The alpha looked at me before he spoke.

" Really, and what did he say, of he is anything of a real father I'm sure he told you to stick it out and do what's best for your------"

I snapped.

" What he said seems to be none of your concern. And if you really must know he told me that you knew I would run and that's why you placed those two to watch me."
