The door bell rang, and Wendy rushed towards the door.
"You're here already? Come on in!"
Max smiled and stepped inside.
"Halloween is just around the corner, Wendy. What do you want to dress up as?"
Wendy thought for a while, "Maybe we can both dress up as a monster. That would look super cute!"
Max sat down and responded, "That's a great idea! But hopefully you survive before that."
"Huh?" Wendy seems frightened, "what do you mean?"
"I mean," he stood up, "that the ghosts don't eat your soul first~ Boo~"
They both laughed from the joke.
Wendy stood up, "I'm gonna go to the restroom for a second."
"Okay."
As Wendy enters the restroom, the doorbell rang again.
"MAX!" she shouted, "Can you help me answer the door?"
Max walked up to the door slowly and turned the knob.
Outside, a voice kept on apologizing.
"Wendy, I'm so sorry! I'm late because of basketball practice. But I can make it up to y-"
The boy raised his head and saw and exact image of himself in front of him.
"Who... are you?!"
Max was petrified as he saw the other him transform into a monster.
"I'm you, from now on."
As he was about to attack Max, his phone started to ring loudly.
Then it left a voice message.
"Max, I'm sorry. You can't come to my house today. I have a doctor's appointment and I forgot to tell you. I'm at the doctor's now!"
Both the boy and the monster questioned in fear, "So... who's the other Wendy?"
The girl walked out of the restroom and her shirt was covered with blood.
Using Wendy's voice, she called out, "Hey guys, I was just having a little snack!" She dangled the dead rat in front of her,
"Do you want to join me, or join the rat?"
