I really don't have many other friends then that. Not because i'm not popular, but because i know they are all fake. I found this out when i was in middle school. I was on the 7th grade and i was 12. I was just starting to like boys and i had my first real crush. Every girl in the 7th and 8th grade was in love with Thomas Griffin, a.k.a. Tommy. I went home and i would always tell Martha that i was going to be his wife and we would live in a castle. It was the week before the spring dance and i was talking to my friend Hannah about how i probably wouldn’t be going because not only did i have a date, but i also had homework. She looked at me like i was crazy, hell, she even told me she was crazy! Next thing i know i have a hand tapping my shoulder. I turned around and it was him. I was star struck. He said, “Hey, you’re Kayla, right?” i just looked at him in awe. Eventually i said yes. Then he asked. He asked me to the dance. I was so excited! I didnt know what to do. Hannah had to say yes for me.
This is a story about a girl who was never wanted. A girl who was born just so her parents could make more money. She only has her best friend and her nanny to help her run away from her dreadful life.
