I walked out with a power feeling great the maids were cleaning but they all stop and looked as I walk by. My head held high as I reach the steps I see my mother fixing father tie. They both had smiles on as they look into each other eyes with love. Erebus fix his jacket with one hand in his pocket the other fixing the button. Looking like a god his face had a small smile on but he just looked like a lost puppy. I guess he was not used to such environment.

Hemera was trying to get his attention as she held a book. Guessing she was trying to pursue him with her ideas. But Erebus keep a smile but keep trying to tell her to ask me.

Then he seen me walked down the stairs almost onto the bottom. He walked away from Hemera and went to me and held his hand out to help me down. Everyone turned their attention to me mostly mother because of my robe. Mother than said." When did you get that?" Surprise because I hardly wear light colors." Today Erebus brought it for me." I said with a small smile. Erebus then join the conversation." She looked to lovely in it not to buy it." He said with a sweet smile but behind it was a terrifying meaning.

"She looks wonderful." My father said with the clap of his hands to cut the tension and with that we left for the party.

 We arrive with cameras flashing and their owners asking people to look this way. Erebus stepped out first than reach for my hand with a smile on his cold face. Then I step out with all the cameras focus coming to us. We walked to the entrance to see Erebus parents greeting the guest. His mother smile widened when she seen us. She then quickly told us to come here she then gave Erebus a big hug and a small kiss on the cheek and rub away her lipstick.

She then turned to me.

"You look so beautiful darling!" She said as she gave me a warm deep hug then pull away then gave me another hug. "Thank you for taking this big baby off the market." It's my pleasure." I said with a smile." I can't wait to help you with the wedding." Me too I have so many ideas for it." Go on in we be in after this. Oh and Erebus your brothers are looking for you." Okay."

We then walk in to see bright ball room filled with people from all over the country. Girls looking for a spouse. Guys looking for fun older people talking business others gossiping. We move across the room with people eyes on us. Some whispering some showing jealousy others can't believe the two monsters are a couple plus engaged. We walked over to group of man that was tall as Erebus than one point over to us with the rest turning to see us. Each with huge smiles across their face.

Erebus had a smile but a small one he then was tackle in a hug by two huge guys while Eros wave at me behind the two giant body's.

"So good to see you little brother." One said with the same eyes but a bit brighter than the other. "Just when we come back you got engaged first." The other with brighter than all the brothers but all had the same hair color but difference is the hair and the height.

They then looked over to me and gave a smile and greeted me with a power that overwhelms some people but to me felt soft and gentle.

"Ah so you're the beauty we been hearing about." I wouldn't say beauty some call me a monster." I said in a cheeky way." Well welcome to a monster family Mrs. Monster" They then bow I laughed at the thought of us as monsters." Then they lifted up their heads with bigger smiles than before. "Ah there's a laugh we wanted to see." The older looking one said which I gave a bigger smile to please them.

"We haven't introduced are self yet did we! I'm Gaea." He had a gentle nature around him very peaceful and relaxing no quite emotions that could stab you in the back. His hair a little long compared to others but more beautiful than any. "I'm the second born of us nine." Nine siblings that's a lot?!" I said surprise. "Just us three for today. I'm Thanatos the first born." He had the aura of older brother but hid his power under a gentle smile of that of a mountain cat. Look beautiful from a distance but deadly once he look at you.

"Nice to meet you all I'm Nyx."  We all then talked for a long time before they had to greet guests.  Erebus looked over to me as I browse the table of sweets. He then laughed a bit while looking at me." What that laugh means?" You looked like a little kid looking at the sweets. So cute." Whatever." I quickly looked down for he can't see my face brighten up.

I grab a plate and grab a small sweet and a few others. Before I hear Hemera in the background talking to her friends.

Erebus still looking at me with a smile that's mocking me.

"Shouldn't you be greeting guest or something." No I never did why you ask?" W...well a Monster shouldn't have a smile on his face." Only you ever see me smile not even my family seen me smile." T..then people say the Monster gone soft.!" They wouldn't dare to my face." He said as he bend down to my height. "T.....too close Erebus." Ah the cold hearted do get overheated." W..what?! You did that just to see me embarrassed?!" I said as I looked up to him mad. "Nope to do this." He then wiped away some frosting away from my lips and lick his finger. "Yeah too sweet for me. Maybe because of your lips." D...don't ever do that again. " I said as almost tripped but Erebus catching me before anyone notice.

"So cute my little Monster Wife." No I'm not cute!!" I said as I cover my face with my sleeves and escape his grips and walked to the bathroom. I close the door and let out a sigh of relief as I sat on the toilet seat.

I almost fainted being too close to Erebus face any other person I could handle it but he just make me throw all control out the door. I stood up and splash a little water on my face and exhaling before the night truly set in.

"Darling you okay?" Not anymore. " He let out a deep chuckle from his chest. While I try to stay calm I bang my knee from trying to keep in my screams but then yelled a ow! Which made Erebus worried. "You okay?" I'm half way dead." I said as I open the door of the bathroom. He looked at me and pushed my hair out of my face. He then gave out his arm with a creepy smile but one that show it wasn't for me but for the people who still whispering and talking. I grab his arm and threw him a creepy smile right back to him. We than walk back to the main room.

Erebus father was on stage with his wife on his arm. Smiling like they have no worries in the world. He tap the mic which ring catching everyone attention to the stage when everyone quiet down he began his speech.

" I would like to personally thank every single one of you who came here out of their busy schedule. To celebrate my son Erebus marriage to the lovely Nyx ."

Everyone clapped and looked at us as we gave smiles but knowing what they actually thought about the marriage. "I hope you guys can support our new family and continue to be our friends!" He said with a shout and everyone held up their glass filled with sparkling liquid with a shine. Me and Erebus was than surround by people mostly older man trying to talk about their business ideas and daughters who make a better pair not very fearful of saying that in front of me.

I was all ready zone out of the conversations with everyone. Erebus then wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Which drag me out of my daydreaming state and made me looked up at him. His dark eyes hide something behind them I couldn't catch. He bend down to my height like always and push my hair behind my ear and whispered. "Can you help me out with a problem?: sure what is it?" This men will not give up about his daughter. Can you help me show him I'm very happy." How? I can't really understand?."

He then reached up with his hand then turn my head to face his. Then whispered " Like this." His lips then touched mine transferring his warmth and the taste of dark chocolate linger with taste of the bubbly liquor he once drunk. He pulled away and gave another quick peck like the one before. Then turned back to the man.

"Sorry my wife looked a little bit lonely. Please continue about the new research." No I think my wife is looking for me this talk is for another day."

The man then walked away from us with a annoyed look on his face. Erebus looked at me who was still in shock.

"Why thank you for the help Darling. I think I need to give you a reward for the help." N...no that's okay you can just give me some chocolate that's go...od e..enough for me." I said as I repeat what just happen in my head over and over. As the night went on Erebus was pulled away from me while I sat at the table that belong to us and both of our families.

Hemera still rambling on about the wedding. I just continue to sip on water trying to put a stop to her questions and suggestions. Erebus was with his brothers talking from time to time he would look over and give a million dollar smile but I quickly looked away. "Sister sister. Look at this wedding robe it fit you so well." Hemera just enjoy the party me and Erebus decided we want to do these all by are self's. "B..but I." No buts it's our wedding and he decided to do it like these okay?." Yes Nyx." But you can choose the flowers I carry okay." Really!" Yes I know how you love flowers so you can do that." Thank you sister!"

She gave me a hug as I gave her a quick smile. But went back to thinking about marriage. I played with the blue ring on my finger while thinking is Erebus really okay with me. I'm not the prettiest but I'm diamond in my own way. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a large warm hand on my back I looked over and seen Erebus.

He sat by me and put a hand on my hand and moved his chair to be closer to mine. He

Held my hand as he plays with the ring he put on my hand. He talked in a low voice where we was the only who could hear. "It fit you so well." Why?" A precious flower no appreciate for it's beauty." You must be blind." Why? Because I see things you don't see." I'm not as beautiful as Hemera nor do any guy dares to ask me out." I'm a lucky guy then." He stop looking at the ring and looked in my eyes with a serious look on his face.

The band began playing loud upbeat music everyone stood up clapping and headed to the dance floor. We sat there still looking into each other eyes. He lifted one eyebrow up with a tilt of his head and his hand out waiting for me to grab his. I laughed and took his hand he guide us to the dance floor people making room.  

The music was blasting the drums hitting the saxophones buzzing. Making the whole party lively we both had smiles on are faces as we dance with each other not caring who see the Monsters smiling.

"Seems we caught their attention. " Erebus said as we waltz across the floor. "I wonder why?" Maybe you're just too beautiful." Don't say things you don't mean." What do you mean?" You don't have to complaint me just because we are getting married." I mean everything I say." He then spined me and dip me low while looking in my eyes with a hint of life. "You are beautiful just because I'm in a arrange marriage doesn't mean anything to me." He lifted me up and continue to dance." You say that to be nice." No I don't say stuff if I don’t mean it." I went quiet

The song was then over.
