Anyone else's mother cut you off before you say something mean? Also, I have my Pre SAT's and ACT's next month, so please help with tips if you have any

Yep! My mom used to lightly backhand smack me in the mouth if I said something dirty, really bad. And it really hurts your pride. SATs/ACTs...only to study, maybe get some material from the library, ask one of the smart students with good grades, even ask teachers what will help. Go to the professionals, my dear.
