I pressed the button and everyone got massively knocked back. The pods fell over, again, except this time around it was all 900 of them, and it wasn’t caused by a computer glitch. Well, everyone except for me. I started levitating. A force field was generated around me. I broke through the ceiling and my momentum constantly increased. I felt a lot of force, a lot of wind hitting me but somehow not hurting me. Then I stopped. I wanted to puke, but it had been days since I’ve eaten anything. Now I was slowly flying across the world. So, this is what we’ve become. What happened to the world full of people. What happened to all the oceans, and the cities. Who did this to our world, which I was always told was a beautiful place full of color. A place of life. But it’s just a desolate wasteland now. A desolate wasteland of abandoned buildings. A seemingly advanced civilization existed here, but it fell down long ago.

There is so much pollution that I can barely breathe. When we went outside before, we had to wear special masks, and now I see why. There are these really tall buildings that are all destroyed. I imagined all of them full of light, full of people making their dreams come true. I imagined that the skeletons on the ground were real, living people. I imagined. Wait? I imagined. What is even happening to me?

Then I snapped back to reality. It was pretty late and I was about to sleep. I was snoring and the moon was in full power. Just as I was about to doze off, I got a message. The message simply had the words link start in it. I said, "What could link start possibly mean?" to myself. The next few hours were a total blur.

When I woke up, I had no idea as to where I actually was. I was scared, afraid that they’d found me and they took me away someplace. I stood up and looked around. I was at the dumpster and I didn’t think that there was anyone else there.

"Hello!" G1 said.

I screamed like a little girl.

"Are you OK?" G1 asked, worried.

"Yeah, I’m perfectly fine. Just a bit shook up." I said, confused.

"Good!"

"We’re at the dumpster!" I yelled, also like a little girl.

"So" G1 said. She wasn’t even affected by my screaming.

"But they’ll find us here!" I said. "Ugh, I still can’t get mad."

"Correct, which is exactly why you have to find a console quickly."

"Fine" I said. Now, find a console, find a console, console, console, console, wait, what the fudge is a console? I thought. I turned around to ask G1 what a console was, but I just felt like it would be cooler to walk backwards instead. At which point I tripped on a box.

"You OK?" G1 asked, laughing.

"Yeah. Are you sure it’s even here?"

"Yeah, I mean, you did just trip on it."

My only reply to that was to just blush. So, I tripped over a Xsontendo console? I guess this is it. Let’s see, this is a games console that comes with some creative games? But creativity is dangerous. I said to myself. Let’s see... included display cable and controller... OK, I suppose? I really hope it is, because if it isn’t, I’ll freak! "I found it!" I said.

"Good, now follow me!" G1 said as she started running.

I really hope that they don’t catch us. Wait? They? Who are they?
