It is human nature to take pleasure in topping others. Who would've thought such a source would come from a mobile game?
At a time like this, people mercilessly drag down others for their own benefit. The rich win, the poor lose, and everyone would laugh and cry about it for a while.
Only to repeat the same cycle when the next event rolls by.

There are mobile games that have events where A) players can obtain limited-edition characters and B) the top ranked players of the event period can obtain a more exclusive character (and have bragging rights). If you have experienced such a game, you know how dangerous the ranking system is.
