Now, see, if Max were a less complex character with a less complex agenda, in a comic with a less complex storyline than this one’s going to end up having, he could’ve just started shooting at the LATV at this point, or delivered some classic nemesis line like “You haven’t heard the last of me,” or “From Hell’s heart I stab at thee.”
But no. Instead he’s gotta go stirring up trouble by saying some cryptic thing that thickens the plot.
