Erebus pov :

It's been weeks since I seen Nyx at the party. Dad suddenly push everything to me so I been all over the place.  Meetings ,calls and no time to rest. She called once and with her crystal clear voice made all of my  stress and tiredness all vanish. I don't even know her that well but it just disappeared when she told me how the wedding planning is going and what colors she going to choose. But all I was thinking was how clamming her voice was.

At the end it seemed like she had something to say but held back. And said a small goodbye. After that call I was even more furious at my Dad for pushing this onto me.  A knock on my door that silence my boiling anger.

"Come in." Then Gaea walked in with a cheeky grin on." Oh come on can't greet me." Hello dear brother." I gave him a hug we than sat down from across from each other." Let me guess Dad push it all onto you?" He said as he take a sip of his drink." Yes and I'm almost tired of it." Why because your wife not by your side?" He said with a laugh. In the back of my mind I just wanted to cut off all the phones and ways people can contact me and just be with Nyx.

" I'm not going to lie but, Yes I want be with my lovely Nyx." He stopped laughing and looked at me with his normal grin on. "What made her so charming?" Her grace, all that beauty just make me go crazy. Not being with her is torture it self. Is that wrong?" No you just found the right one. The one where it's so painful not seeing her make it seem like death itself. Have you ever been like that?" I said looking straight in his eyes and he said." Not yet but , brother treasure her."

He then put his glass on the dark wooden desk of mine stood up with unsure grin and walked out. I finish everything and just relax looking out just before I return to my Angel arms. I closed my eyes and sleep peacefully for first time in ages. For I can catch an early train

I arrive back to the sunlight city I know oh so well. While the butler get my stuff I rush to see the sun in my life. I slowed my pace down not to cause any attention to go to me. I arrived to my car before the diver got back from the bathroom he quickly apologize for the wait and I felt something I never have before with any other.

I felt happiness and life again. Usually I just date for my Mother don't introduced any of her friends daughters to me . But I don't feel forced we got to know each other better every time we meet and we didn't have to hide behind our masks. I seen her open up something that's very rare but people hurt her so she hide everything behind her mask not letting anyone see it. Reminds me a little bit of myself. I don't trust people they always end up using people even if in the beginning they wanted to be your friend but backstabbing isn't avoidable.

As I was in deep thought we arrived to her house. I seen her outside sitting in the garden in a dark blue robe covered in exquisite designs as always. Her long hair flowing in the air. Seeing that made me feel like she was out of a painting. As she looked down at the flowers and back to the book as she study the flowers I studied her movements. I return to reality then walked to her.  She was deep in thought as she looked at the flowers. I slowly walked to her and looked over her shoulder. The meaning of flowers the book showed thousands pictures of flowers I never seen or heard. I reached down and flipped the page interested in it.  Instantly Nyx fell into my arms as she tried to stand up. With a cute yep with her eyes closed as she fell thinking she hit the concrete but into my arms.

She slowly opened her eyes to meet mine. Her deep midnight eyes slowly pulling me in as I had a spell put on me. We stayed like that as she stand up never losing contact. We was in our own world making seem like it was a movie the wind blowing a few flower petals. Her hair blowing in the wind. She then looked away to tuck her hair away. as I try to gain back control over my crazy heartbeat. She spoke first. " I didn't know you got back this early you told me next week." I put off all of that just for the wedding planning that stuff can wait." Erebus you're a Duke I don't think that can wait?" Oh for you it can." Ah there's the sweet talk." You miss it you know you do my Duchess." Oh my there you go again." What if I may ask?" Nothing my great Duke." So how's the wedding planning going?" Great not a single problem!" Have you gone dress shopping?" I have and got you a tuxedo to match." Oh can't I wait to see you in your dress I bet you look like a Goddess." Ugh!"

She said as she roll her eyes and walked away with me following behind while saying more sweet words to her. As we walk we look at the sky and the flowers in bloom. Nyx hummed a quiet rhyme matching the mood as she twirl a pink flower. I want to stay like this for the rest of my days. Nothing to worry about , nothing to do but love this wonderful woman by my side. We walk to the bench and sat down I helped her with her robe and just looked at the sky. "I never get to enjoy these type of things usually." Really?" But with you it just seems like everything just stop and I can enjoy life with no rush." I said with a yawn. " Have you sleep any?" Not really just an hour with all the work I been doing and traveling I have no real time to rest." I said again with a yawn. Then suddenly Nyx pulled me down with my head on her lap and the rest of my body on the bench.

"Sleep I wake you up in a little just sleep for now." I can't I have..." Shut up and sleep Erebus this from your wife to be!" Yes ma'am." I close my eyes to hear the birds chirp as the wind blows with the hum of Nyx melody. The scent of the flowers easing my nerves. I felt something on my body I peak just a little to see half of Nyx blue robe covering me. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

"Erebus wake up." Someone said l as they softly shook my body. Which made me disagree with waking up I cuddle up more with the warm of the lap I was using." Erebus wake up please let's go eat dinner." She moved my hair out my face with a delicate hand that move softly across my head to behind my ear. She then tried pinching me everywhere at random places on my body. Aim at my most sensitive spots.

"Okay okay I'm up!" Nice let's go have dinner!" When she said that I looked up at the sky to see it's was almost night time. I fixed my wrinkled suite as Nyx fix her robe and hair. She looked over to me waiting for me. I stand up with my hand out stretched she took it. We walked down the star lighten path with the moon being full. We walked hand and hand as we talk and look at the stars. It's weird we only meet two months ago and we are already know a lot about each other.

" So what date should the wedding be ?" Next week." What?! Next week that's ...?" Your right tomorrow morning let's get married!" EH! Erebus that's not enough time to get everything ready!" Look I don't need a big fancy wedding with people there who don't even care about it.  And are families just want to brag about their wealth." True but that short ti..."

I cut her off again by talking over her." I'm a Duke remember Darling." Yes Monster Duke I remember ." great I have a lot of work to do so you go get your dress now with my mother and you family to bond. As I get back to duel an old man about business." I said as I walk away while finishing my sentence. "I call the dress shop to stay open Darling."

She followed me to her steps as I rush down them to my car before it get to late. I blow a kiss to her and she just growled and turned toward her home and walked away with her dark blue robe following  behind her with grace. Making sure she was in I got inside my car and the diver pulled away.
