Escaping the Pit

My depression began to feel like a deep pit. I felt constantly plagued by depression and anxiety, and every time I started climbing back out (with the help of some very good friends), they were right there pulling me back down. And to top it all off, there were those special people who were right there ready to cut my escape line.
