It was almost four. Looking up from her phone she could see the professor finishing up indicating that class was done for today. everyone gathered their stuff and left. wasn't it a bad idea to return there? Her thoughts where running wild what if and imagine that. those two possibilities kept repeating themself during the brief walk to the library. Her feet stopped in front of the glass door of her destination. what now? Run? Go in? She didn't know what to do. Her body did however as she already subconsciously placed her hand on the cold metal bar of the door. What? Why didn't it open? A wave of embarrassment washed over her as she realized she had to pull. the door flew open much faster and harder then she would've liked. her eyes scanned the room a few people looked up to her after being so loud with the door. But he wasn't sitting at his usual table.
"Looking for someone?" that unmistakable soft voice asked. unprepared for this she jumped up a bit. The red hairs almost got thrown in his face as she hastily turned her face. Her suspicions got confirmed as she saw Cole standing there with the usual smile on his face. "How long?" She managed to bring out. "Well I saw you pushing the pull door." he said as his smile turned into a small grin. The embarrassment from before was nothing compared to this. The redness that formed on her cheeks completely masked the freckles on them. What to do? Run? No this time her feet really seemed frozen in place. What was she going to do now? He saw the distress in her green eyes making it hard for him to suppress laughing. Was she afraid? Of him? He was the least intimidating person he knew. Yet she seemed scared. His thoughts quickly jumped to something else. if he wanted to calmly talk to this girl he would have to take her elsewhere. Sasha would probably come and interupt them soon. "Come with me if you want to live." His voice trying to sound manly and horribly failing in it. The stupid joke worked as it brought a smile to her face and made her look less nervous. She nodded her head in a sign of acceptance.
