Green eyes, Blue skies

"I'm afraid of water." She said, blushing. "Not open water, but water in general. I also get a reaction from it."

I laughed slightly. "Your afraid of water." I saw that I was upsetting her slightly. "What kind of reaction?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Maybe... if your lucky, I'll show you. Now it's your turn."

I thought for a moment. Did I want to tell her? Would she believe me? "I am allergic to the sun and garlic. I get a deadly reaction to it."

She laughed at me. "Your a vampire then?" She rolled her eyes at me. "I get that you think I'm lying but you don't need to make fun of me."

"I knew you wouldn't believe me anyways." I stood up and walked a few paces away. "Do you know how hard it is for people not to notice you coming back every year? How many different hair styles and contacts I need in order to pull it off?" I nicked my lip with my fang and started bleeding.

I turned around to face her. "And I can't even bite my lip without bleeding." Not that she would understand. She is just like everyone else. And now I will have to wipe her memory. Like I have to with everyone who finds out.

I lifted up my hand and concentrated. "Don't worry though... You wont remember this conversation..."

"Do you want me to show you?" She stood and walked up to me. "Why I can't just tell you out right?"

I lowered my hand and nodded.

"Meet me at the lake tonight at 11." She said. "And I believe you. Don't worry. You aren't the only one with a secret." She walked away. Do I even want to know? I sighed.

           "What is your name?"

"Sam." She said over her shoulder and continued to walk away.

If I had a heart, I knew it would be beating out of my chest. She didn't act like she was afraid of me. She could be covering it up. But then why would she say that I'm not the only one with a secret? Did I want to go see her tonight?

I pulled my hood further over my face and walked in the direction of the motel I stayed at.

When I walked in I was greeted by Vrin, The leader of our group. He always seemed to know how to keep everyone from tearing throats out. Literally. He was fairly tall with short wavy black hair and dark brown eyes that look black when he gets angry.

"Hey Ella, You okay? You look like you had a bad day." He said placing a hand on my shoulder.
