When she arrived at the station the train was already preparing to leave. She hurried to one of the mechanical doors swiftly getting in. walking through the carts of the train in search for her friends she saw that the train was pretty full today. finally she saw the two familiar faces who luckily had reserved a place for her. Before even sitting down they were already trying to find out why she was so late. "I was busy." Emily said as to end the conversation. Her friends wouldn't give up so easily though she had never been late before. "Oh really?" Sarah asked "and were you being busy alone?" She said in a slightly teasing tone. Emily couldn't stop herself from blushing thinking back about the boy she had been with until recently. "Perhaps." was all she managed to bring out making it obvious she hadn't been alone. "So,who were you with?" Sarah asked her brown eyes sparkling with curiosity. The look on her face made Emily finally surrendered. There was nothing you could do after Sarah gave you that look. She would just keep asking until you finally gave in it would be easier to just tell her now. "Cole." Emily quietly admitted. Hoping that maybe they wouldn't even recognise his name. Sarah luckily didn't, Ann however suddenly seemed to wake up after hearing that name. "Cole?" She asked while raising one of her black eyebrows showing her surprise. "I thought that guy was together with Sasha." What? With Sasha? doubt filled her thoughts. Had it all been an act? Did he lie when he said he didn't have a girlfriend? It was true that the blonde girl looked way better than she did. But there was no way that the adorable reaction of before was just an act. Right? Ann felt bad seeing the despair on the face of her friend. "At least that is how she makes it look like." She said trying to cheer her up. It worked because the freckle filled face seemed to clear up a little again. Then Sarah jumped in on the conversation again "So what did you do with Cole?" Her eyes were once again wide open and her lips pressed in a playful grin. The question made her uncomfortable. "We just talked." She finally brought out while diverting her eyes trying to hide how flustered she was. Sarah noticed this, widening her grin before replying. "Then why are you blushing?" "I might have asked him out." She said pushing both her index fingers against each other. "Aaaand?" both of the girls immediately asked. Emily was so nervous now that her left leg was actually trembling slightly. Nervously she cleared her throat before replying. Her voice was quiet so quiet her friends barely heard her but they could swear they had heard a silent "he said yes." The rest of the train ride all they did was talk about the boy and what to do tomorrow.
