It would first start with the newest and most severe. Then, it would repair any and all of physical damage the human had collected through-out their lifetime. It would even erase the scars, making it like the injuries and wounds had never happened. Afterwards and if it was needed, it would reverse the aging process until it either ran out or the person had returned to their prime. Finally, if there was any leftover after all that, it would go back to being stored in the person's tissues and the person would wake up. If there wasn't, the person would stay unconscious until dawn.
Shadow let out a small sigh and retracted his teeth again. He would have to bite the teen again to start the process over which would hurt, and he didn't feel like hurting him anymore. He had to though, so he could drain the boy until he fell asleep. He licked the area once more to numb it back up before unsheathing his teeth and biting him again.
Again, the teen-aged boy felt no pain when Shadow's teeth sank back into his flesh. He did feel some pain though as Shadow's poison reacted to the left over remains of adrenaline in the boy's system but wasn't as much pain as Shadow had feared and it soon faded. In its place was a warm relaxing feeling that spread though out the boy's body. The feeling was caused by Shadow's feeding poison slowly extracting the boy's life force and turning it into a warm fluid flowing through his veins. This substance is what Shadow was after when he fed on living things and he carefully filtered it out of the boy's blood stream before consuming it, so he wouldn't ingest any of the boy's blood by accident.
Shadow kept a close watch on the teen's vital signs as he fed to ensure that he didn't take more than he intended or needed to. When Shadow felt the teen's breathing and heart rate slowing to that of a deep sleep, he stopped feeding and un-clamped his jaws from the youth. He then moved him, so he could examine the area where he had bit him.
The wound itself had started to close the moment Shadow's teeth had left it. It was still covered in some of the liquid life force making it appear worse than it really was. You see, the liquid the life force was turned into when it was extracted by Shadow's poison was red, viscous, and transparent. It also currently covered Shadow's mouth with a small trickle heading downwards from one corner.
Shadow resisted cleaning off his face for the moment as he stared down at the life force still on the boy. He debated whether or not he would leave it there as part of his plan to frighten the other four away but in the end, he decided not to waste any and carefully licked the area clean. He left what was on his face alone as it was the same shade of red as blood and could easily be mistaken for it in the dark. This would add a touch of realism to the act he would be doing to scare the other, still drunk, senior high-schoolers.
