Rose watched Ahyoka scrubbing the dirt off her dress and took careful note off her appearance. She had pretty features and long black hair accompanied with really smooth reddish brown skin. Rose was quiet different, she had blonde hair and freckles with fair skin. Since she wasn't much of a socializer she took not off the beautiful landscape. The water was crystal clear and beautiful, the air was cool and breezy, and the forest was vibrant and alive.  "I'm done" Ayhoka said walking over to a long branch and hanging the dress there. "Thanks" she said while trying to hide her blush. "Well looks like we will be here a while. Lets talk talk while we wait." Ahyoka said while leading her over to the edge of the lake.

Rose and Ayhoka both stared into the water finding that easier then looking at each other. "So, what do you want to talk about?" Rose asked. "Do you like me?" Ayhoka asked staring right at her. Although Ahyoka seemed perfectly calm asking this Roses heart was pounding and her faced flushed red but decided to deny it since she knew what she would say. "N-No! No, what would make you ask that." she said while scratching the back of her head and laughing. "Well the first time we met, you froze and blushed. And when we saw each other in the bakery you did the same. I've never seen anyone do that before. Plus you followed me which was strange." she said while laughing at Roses horrified face. "I guess I can't deny it. I do like you. ill just get my dress and go." she said while getting up and staring at the ground.

"Wait! why are you leaving?" Ayhoka asked while running to stop Rose. "Don't you hate me and not want to see me again" she screamed at her while crying. "Why would I when I like you to. I was so disappointed when you didn't come to the next celebration and just tried to forget about you." she lifted Roses face to meet her own and whipped the tears off her face. They both stood there embracing each other for what felt like an eternity for Rose. They both felt each others warmth and Ayhoka could hear Roses now calm heartbeat.

After Roses dress had dried Ayhoka had led her back to her town where they stopped. "I want to see you again" Rose said. "Lets meet tomorrow at my village's cornfield and I will be at the edge. I'll give you a personal tour." Ayhoka said while winking at her and kissing her forehead. "Ok. ill see you there. Goodnight." She said while blushing and smiling. "Goodnight"

When Rose entered her home she found her family at the table eating. Her mother, father, and older brother. She walked into the dining room to have them all staring at her so she slipped into the kitchen to put the bread in the cupboard. After making herself a plate she went and sat at the table. "Where have you been Rose?" her father asked staring at her. "I was out with a friend" she responded recalling what happened there. "Well next time you go out for so long tell us beforehand. I have news." he said while smiling.
