The ring of the school bell echoed through the streets. Laughter and shouts of elementary school students filled the alleyways. "Mama! I'm going to be late! Just pack my breakfast! I have money already!" Fleur ran out of the small leaking bathroom to her teeny room. "Ten more minutes, ten more!!" She hastily put on her school uniform. Gathering her belongings and lunch money, she stormed out the small beige house. "Bye Ma! I'll be home by 6:30!" A short-haired woman looks out the window, "Be safe!" Fleur walk-ran towards the curb to the tricycle terminal near the grocery store near the grocery store. She impatiently waited for a tricycle but the lady who would usually call one for her was busy talking to a vegetable vendor. "Kuya! St. Cruz National Highschool please! And fast!" When you ask a tricycle driver to go fast, the go really fast. The small vehicle zipped through the morning traffic as if it was running from the apocalypse. Fleur hit her head on the cart's roof a couple of times but hey, at least she wasn't late. She opened the door just as the gate bell rang. "Nice timing." A girl with long black hair and small brown eyes smiles at her. Her name was Erika Manrique, the class muse. "Shoot. I forgot my umbrella." Fleur swung up her hands in surrender. "You can borrow mine, I wont need it anyway. I'm walking with the girls, they have plenty of umbrellas." Erika wasn't much of a pretty girl but she was really nice. Fleur thinks that the reason why she was appointed as muse was because everyone in the class liked her. "Uh, thanks." Fleur didn't have much friends. She didnt care anyway. To her, school was spending a lot of time in a room full of familiar strangers learning whatever the teacher throws at you and going home.
7:00
A tall, plump lady with pitch black eyes entered the room
