After the whole fiasco with my puking, I had a Spanish class. I wasn't bad at Spanish, in fact in my old school I was the teacher's pet. She loved me 'cause I would always answer her questions correctly.
"Skye would you mind telling us about yourself? Maybe put it in Spanish so I can get an idea of how well you know it?"
I nodded and stood up nervously, as all eyes in the class were on me, except from the person that was in front of me, who had a hood on and obviously had earphones plugged into them.
"Me llamo Skye. Ummm.... solia vivir en Inglaterra. (My name is Skye. I used to live in England) You can probably tell that by my accent. Me gusta futbol, y el color azul. Yo tengo un hermano y dos hermanas. Ellas son molesto como mierda pero yo amo ellos mucho. Tengo un amigo que vino conmigo de Inglaterra. Ella llama es Abby. Ella es además molesto. Hay lguna pregunta?(I like soccer and the color blue. I have a brother and 2 sisters. They are annoying as shit but I love them a lot. I have a friend who came from england with me. Her name is Abby. She is also annoying as shit. Are there any questions?)"
The class stared wide eyed at me in shock except for a few people who just shrugged. Miss Mariana clapped and smiled at me profusely.
"Mucho bueno! Eres tú desde Spain?(Very good! Are you from Spain?)" She asks curiously.
I shake my head, explaining to her how I used to have lots of Spanish classes.
"Ah, okay. I want you to stay behind after class finishes for a minute to talk about something. You're not in trouble, I promise you."
I nod my head as I sit back in my seat, looking at the board. This is all so easy, to be honest, I have no idea why I'm here. I already know so much Spanish, my teachers at my old school gave up trying to teach me anything new.

As the bell rang, everyone else packed up their bags, and walked out except the guy that was at the bus stop. I walked to the front and met him at the teachers desk.
"Lucas, meet Skye, Skye, meet Lucas,. Skye is a new student here, transferred from England. I wondered if you could help Lucas with his Spanish maybe? He's behind, as he wasn't in for most of last year."
Miss Mariana gave Lucas a disapproving look, which he just shrugged off.
"Uh, I mean, I kind of just got h-"
"Exactly!" She exclaims. "You'll teach him some Spanish, since you seem to be so good at it, and in return, he can show you around, and introduce you to his friends. You can really settle in here."
I sigh inwardly. I kind of wanted to finish grade 5 guitar, but hey, I guess practise will have to be on hold for now.
"Sure, I guess."
She claps her hands in excitement.
"Very good! Okay, I'll let you figure out when and where you want to practise. I expect your grades to go up, Lucas." She says in a demanding tone, before she leaves.
"So, when do you want to-"
"Look, you seem nice and all, but to be honest, I don't really care about Spanish, okay? So, you don't have to waste your time trying to teach me, when it won't work. I'm a waste of space."
"But-"
"But nothing. If Miss Mariana asks about why my grades haven't gone up, I'll come up with an excuse."
"But-"
Before I could speak anymore words, he was gone.
