Final Arc
Everyone started to argue with Kodiak. “Why here?!” “I ain't infected fool!” “Get me outta here!” Kodiak yelled at the uproar. “YOU WILL FOLLOW ORDERS. REFUSE AND BE KILLED. DO NOT MESS WITH ME AND THE CANADIAN ARMY. AM I CLEAR?” No one spoke. “I SAID, AM! I! CLEAR?!!” Darrick spat back,”Crystal.”
Kodiak did not hesitate. He grabbed his pistol, and blasted a bullet at Darrick’s head. The bullet nailed him straight in the forehead. Blood flew from his head, as he flew back. Blood streamed from the hole in his head.
Kodiak held the gun tightly, smoke coming out of it.
Darrick fell to the floor, his body lifeless. He died before hitting the ground.
“Have I made my point?”
Dawn nodded her head, feeling bad for Darrick. Survived, just to die. Kodiak lead the others to the quarantine zone. “This will be your tent. There are only eight of you, so you should be fine.” “Seven.” “What was that you maggot?” Crawl was the speaker. “Seven. You killed that guy back there.” Kodiak leveled his shotgun, aiming it at Crawl’s head. “Do you want me to make it six?” “No sir.”
Kodiak put away his gun. “Goodbye Tent A-3.” Kodiak left the zone, driving away with his bus. There were seven people in the tent. Crawl, Jackson, Dawn, Jessica, Candy, and Raoul.
Raoul shifted uneasily. “So…” Candy fiddled with her necklace. Raoul stopped trying to make conversation.
Dawn looked at everyone around her. She resented everyone there. She hated them all. She wanted to disappear.
Just disappear.
