Arc 1
Dawn woke up from that terrible dream. A year later we would die? No way…
She suddenly became temperamental.
Dawn paced the room, angry at herself. “Why in quarantine?!” She yelled, startling Jackson and the others. Crawl tried to calm Dawn down. “Let's just sit down…” “NO! I will not sit down! I will… do something!” She struggled for the words. She wasn't the girl that was nice and kind before, she was now losing her temper. She stomped to the other side of the huge tent. The tent resembled a room, and they referred to it that way. The tent wasn't pretty, but they could manage.
Raoul looked at his wristwatch. 8:15 PM. “Hm…” He thought of where he would be right now. Work...work, work, work…
Jackson was sitting with Candy. “You ok?”
Candy started to jitter around. “Yeah.. I’m good. “ Jackson nodded his head and looked at Crawl.
Crawl kept trying to calm down Dawn. Someone was lurking in the corner. “Hey. You haven’t told us your name.”
The weird guy kept muttering to himself. “End times. The first of five.”
Jackson scooted away from the guy.
Dawn finally calmed down. “Well… we are going to have to find a way to get out of here. “ Everyone murmured in agreement. Seven. Seven people.
Dawn peeked outside from the tent.
She saw a bunch of guards, and a lot of tents. She came back in the tent. “There are dozens of guards.” Jackson sighed,”Well that's it.”
Raoul stared at Dawn. “What are they armed with?”
Dawn blushed, but hid it quickly,”I think rifles? I’m not really sure.”
Raoul stopped staring and looked at the others. “One of us has got to distract the guards while we run.”
Before they could come to an agreement, guards started rushing to the Canadian wall. “INFECTED ARE CLIMBING OVER!” “MOVE!”
Every guard in the quarantine area rushed toward the immense wall covering the entire camp.
Dawn spotted a shadowy figure on the top of the huge wall. A huge growl roared over Canada. She realized what was happening.
Infected are climbing over.
Monterey yelled at every guard to open fire. Gunfire blasted at the wall. The shadowy figure jumped down and slammed into a tent. The tent collapsed, and people were screaming inside.
Kodiak was driving back up the ramp. The ramp was the only way people could get up the wall. He had turned off his radio. He parked at a spot and walked out of the bus, leaving his weapons behind. Soldiers were lined up shaking. “Are you guys ok?” No answer. Kodiak grabbed a soldier’s shoulder. “Hey!” The soldier had blood all over him. He was infected. Every single infected on the wall rushed Kodiak and started to infect him. He screamed, alerting everyone below.
Monterey heard a loud scream. He told everyone to open fire. He grabbed a random soldiers binoculars and looked at the ramp. Tons of infected rushed down, infecting every soldier in their way. Led by infected Kodiak, they rushed down the wall.
Dawn yelled at everyone to pack essentials. Raoul helped Jessica pack. After, he rushed to Dawn. “Ready?” She nodded,”Ready.” The unnamed man was still in the corner. Raoul yelled at him,”Either you're coming, or we are leaving you for dead!” “My name’s Lewis.” He grabbed his pack, put food and water, and rushed out with them.
Outside, there was chaos. The infected that fell survived the fall. He infected the members of the tent, and rushed forward to infect a random soldier. Monterey saw Dawn and Raoul leaving. “HEY! STAY HERE!”
He grabbed his rifle, aimed at Jackson’s head, and fired. PANG! The bullet missed him by an inch. Monterey cursed. “GET THEM!” But no one moved, as the infected started to storm the quarantine.
Dawn found a huge bus. The seven members of Tent A-3 rushed inside. Jackson slammed the door, and a man banged on the bus door. “Let me in! Please!” Jackson was about to, but an infected tackled the man, and infected him. The zombie ripped the flesh of his shoulder. Raoul got into the driver's seat. Jackson yelled, “GUN IT!” Raoul slammed the gas pedal, and they revved off. Raoul thought they were safe, but his heart dropped,”FENCE!” A fence was barricading the camp. “Just ram it!” yelled. “No way!” Now Dawn was yelling now,”RAM IT!” Jessica began to cry, and Dawn hugged her tight. “It’ll be ok…” Raoul just kept driving faster. “I guess… here we GO!” The bus slammed into the fence, and broke through. “YES!” They drove from the camp.
Five hours later, the bus was still on the road. Lewis was now driving, and Raoul and Dawn, were sleeping in the back. Jessica was playing with Candy. Lewis was sweating profusely. He was scared a horde would attack them. Lewis slammed the break. Jackson looked up. “What's going on?” Three survivors were standing next to the bus. One of them had a black jacket, with the hood on, and a red mask, with Japanese markings. He carried a shotgun. Another, wore a cowboy hat, and had a toothpick in his mouth. He grinned, and had two revolvers in their respective holsters. The other survivor, had a top hat, was dark skinned, and carried an aluminum bat, with a row for a boat, strapped around him. They introduced themselves. Red mask’s name was Jaxon. He was the leader. Mr. Cowboy’s name was Quince, and Top Hat was Argus. They wanted to join the group. Lewis let them join. They were happy, and joined the group in the bus.
