Leo had headed back to the living room. Ken was sitting on the sofa and was still watching the movie, it seemed that the heroine was in tears, while hugging a guy from behind. Ken was crying and overwhelmed by the scene, while hloding tightly on a pillow. Suddenly, Leo landed on the sofa beside Ken.
- Hey, guess what I've been up to!
Ken didn't even notice Leos whining, and was too busy watching the touchy moment when the guy finally turned around for the kiss. Leo got annoyed, for being ignored.
- Ken! Listen to me!
Ken didn't give him any attention and was continuing to watch the movie.
- I tricked Allen, and made him believe I was Newbie!
- You did what!!?
- You should've seen his face! it was priceless!!
Ken was staring at Leo with an open mouth, all his attention had gone from the movie to what Leo had said in an instant. Leo got satisfied, he hated to be ignored, to see Kens reaction like this was just too funny.
- Did he find out...?
- I would be dead if he did... so, no
Leo looked confident with his head held up high, with a smirk, as if he was bragging over a success of taming a wild beast.
- You... really don't get the situation you're in now, do you?
- Huh? it's not like he will find out... or that he shouldn't...
- But what if he does...?
- It's fine! unless...
- Unless, what?
- Unless you "accidentally" tell him...
- What!?
The thought hit Ken, that he was the one that informed Leo about that incident in the elevator, and this fact made him realise that he was the cause, from the very beginning! Ken was starting to feel sick, was Leo planning something...?
- What is it you want...?
- Oh, you're catching on, it's not that I want something, we are on the same boat... if the boat sinks, then that will be bad for the both of us... right!?
Ken felt calmer, Leo was making sure that Ken wouldn't tell Allen.... or anyone at that, but the fact that he got bribed by Leo made him feel a little annoyed.
- ...Right...
- Good, then! not that I was worried though...
Leo seem to be much calmer about this than Ken was, he was just smiling, which made Ken irritated. To Leo was this his way of having fun, and enjoying others being bothered.
- Well, I should get going now...
Ken watched Leo walk away, and then looked back to watch the TV screen, the movie had come to its happy ending.
Thanks to Leo he had missed one if his favorite scenes, where the heroine finally ended up together with the fated one. The credits was now scrolling on the screen.
- ...I really hate him...

Newbie opened his eyes, he saw Lilly looking down at him, he was still in the coffin. Was this a dream, or did he really wake up? Lilly was looking a bit worried at him, her eyebrows were frowning. Newbie noticed that she was red around her eyes, had she been crying?
- Lilly...
The little voice that came out of him made Lilly hold her breath, and then smile with joy.
- You talked...! You said my name!!
She started to hug Newbie, it got difficult to breath because of Lilly. She hadn't realised it, and was hugging him too tight. Conny walked up to them and pulled Lilly away from Newbie.
- How do you feel?
Newbie sat up, he looked at Conny.
- ...My throat feels sore but other than that... I... feel fine.
Conny looked relieved.
- Oh, so how was it?
Newbie didn't want to think about it, it was a terrible experience, he had never wanted to do it again, but... that place... even though it was dark... Newbie couldn't help but to feel... something.
- It was.... strange... I was in this dark place... and...
The memory of Allen suddenly appeared in his mind. He didn't want to tell them about that part, but it would be even stranger if he didn't mention that part, it wasn't that weird, was it?
- That's odd...
Newbie looked at Conny that seemed to be bothering about something, the chance to change the topic had appeared for Newbie.
- What is?
- Ah, well, you see, that place you were in, is the place where you have the strongest attachment to, emotionally. It could be the home you shared with your loved one, or a school where you got your first biggest heartbreak... but a dark place.
Conny looked at Newbie with serious face.
- How come that special place was dark?
Newbie felt something heavy grow in his chest, this was the first time he had felt this, why?
- I... don't remember from the time before I got here... So could that place have been dark because I have forgotten it...
Conny didn't change his expression, but then nodded.
- I see, sorry to hear that...
It got silent, he reached out his hand towards Newbie, and helped him up on his feet.
- You must be a bit tired... let's get you out of this.

On the way to the elevator, Newbie remembered the gift Lilly had given her. He ran up to her and took her wrist to get her attention.
- Thank you for the gift... I think it saved me somehow...
Newbie had it in his pocket, he had found it while he was getting out of the coffin. Lilly smiled and took his hand.
- You mean it helped you, the one making the true effort was you.
Conny looked their way, he seemed to feel a bit left out.
- What are you talking about?
- Hahaha, nothing special!
Lilly looked at Newbie with a serious face, and whispered
- It's actually not allowed, so you can't tell this to anyone.
- I...see...
Newbie felt bothered about this confession from Lilly, the fact that she had done something that wasn't allowed to help him, made him feel bad. Was this okay for him to accept, wouldn't Lilly be punished if someone would find out...? Newbie looked away with a guilty feeling. Lilly patted Newbie on the head, she didn't need to read his mind to understand what he was thinking.
- Don't be like that I will feel bad too...
She seemed to be feeling sorry, but tried to hide it with a smile. Lilly knew about the risks, but decided to still do it... for his sake... Newbie sighted, but couldn't hide the fact that he felt happy and smiled.
- Thank you, Lilly...

They were in the elevator and going down, the door opened up on the fourth floor. In front of them was Allen standing, he swooped out his knife and pointed it towards Connys throat. He was looking pleased at Conny.
- So you finally decided to appear in front of me?
Conny started to smile awkwardly at Allen.
- Ahaha... it's been a while, hasn't it...?
Allen ignored what Conny was saying.
- So, do you want to beg for mercy and slowly die in agony or get your head cut off from your body?
Allen hadn't looked away when he said that, his eyes showed no sign of hesitation, he meant everything. Conny seemed to know, he was looking bothered by Allens threat, but also to calm, like he was used to it.
- Now now, you wouldn't do it in front of witnesses, would you...?
Allen hadn't noticed that Lilly and Newbie was in the elevator. Allens eyes met Newbies for a second, he was hiding behind Lilly, his eyes were showing fear. Allen looked back at Conny, that was smiling, knowing that he had the upper hand. Allen sighs and decided to put the knife away.
- Consider yourself lucky, bastard...
Allen went to the back of the elevator and was standing in the corner. Lilly turned to Allen after ignoring his try to kill Conny.
- So, Allen, what are you up to?
Lilly asked and looked curious, even thought she knew the answer. Allen also knew that she knew, but decided to just play along with it.
- Training.
- Ah, I seeeee... by the way, Newbie got his voice back!!
Lilly looked super happy, Newbie started to sweat and felt nervous by suddenly being mentioned. Non the less to Allen! He glanced at Allen, he didn't show any interest at all.
- Hm, I see...
Newbie got a bit disappointed by that lack of interest, stupid, why would Allen even care... Newbie had looked away. Allen glanced at Newbie and got lost in thoughts, Lilly noticed and got amused by it. The elevator finally stopped 3th floor Newbie was on his way out and so was Allen too.
- Huh? Weren't you going for training?
Allen looked at Lilly.
- Yeah, just getting some change of clothing...
Lilly smirks at Allen.
- Heeee, and when did you care about that kind of stuff?
- Shut up, can't I!?
Allen went ahead, Lilly seemed a bit puzzled by Allens behaviour, this was the first time for her, but it all was in an amusing way.
- Well then, take it easy then!
Conny gave a pat on Newbies back.
- And also, glad you made it back!
Lilly went forward and gave him a tight hug.
- Sorry, I have got some small work to do, but I promise to give you that tour soon!
Newbie looked happily at them.
- Yeah... Thank you, I will be looking forward to it.
Lilly was waving her hand until the elevator had closed, Newbie thought it was silly, but did the same thing. When it had closed he turned to go to his room.
- So you are finally done?
Allen hadn't left, he had been standing behind Newbie the whole time. Newbie felt embarrassed, it must have seemed even more than just "silly" to him!
- Were you waiting?
Allen got annoyed by his question.
- I can't? We are roommates, it's not like a can avoid you even if I wanted to, so we might as well go together, idiot...
Newbie got annoyed too, but held it together, and forced a smile.
- Yeah, guess that's true
They started to walk to their room, that was at the end of the hallway. None of them was talking, newbie started to feel the pressure of the painful silence.
- By the way... the thing you asked this morning... I guess.... We can be... friends...
Newbie got surprised by what he suddenly had said, but tried to remember, but couldn't understand what Allen was talking about, was he joking?
- I don't understand?
Allen stops, and looks even more pissed out at Newbie.
- Whaaa!? you were even clinging to me and looking all stupid!
"Looking all stupid!"!? Newbie couldn't hold his anger anymore, why did Allen always have to be so annoying!?
- You...! What are you even talking about...! I would never want to be friends with someone like you!!
Allen pushed Newbie to the wall, and banged his hand beside Newbies head. He had snapped completely and was looking down on Newbie that had become frighten to the core.
- So you were playing a prank on me, huh...?
Allen was mad, furious, Newbie could see that in his eyes. He had gotten too scared to process what Allen was talking about, the only thing he could think of was to get away... to run!
- I'm... sorry... I said too much...
Allen had noticed that Newbie was shaking, and he could see the fear stronger than ever in Newbies eyes. Allen looked away, he hadn't been listening to what Newbie had said. It had gone quiet for a minute, Allen seemed to have gone to his own thoughts.
- You were making fun of me... well, I hope you had a good laugh, Newbie...
Allen took a few steps back and walked towards the elevator.
- To think I actually was looking forward to be talking to you...
The sudden fear had changed when he saw Allen had turned around his back on him and walking further and further away from him... what was this?
.
.
.
- Why did you lie to him?
- Ah, you really are cruel for asking...
- Just answer me.
- Fine, because "I thought that was for the best" happy!?
Lilly got more upset by Connys answer, even though he had answered her honestly, she couldn't help but still feel something bothering her.
- But...
- What! he said that he had no memory from the past and that's probably what he wants to believe... even if I had told him that memory was irrelevant, and that his feelings from his past was the case of what he saw... would that make any difference.....?
Conny sighs,
- Or do you actually think he would be thankful, knowing that his special moment in life was in some place, surrounded by darkness...
It got silent in the elevator.
- To be honest, I'm worried... and I can't seem to trust him just yet... but as the captain for this group... I will give him a chance, and have a close eye on him...
The door opens and Lilly walks out of the elevator, she turns to Conny before it close.
- You are despicable...
She was still looking upset, Conny met Lillys eyes till the door had closed. He knew he had said too much, and being cruel to Newbie. Lilly was upset in more than one way, the disappointment in her eyes said it all. He had laughed, he lost his touch? Maybe he should retire or something? He sighs. He had already lost it a long time ago... and it was probably too late to quit now...
