The air tasted like salt and smelled like a boy's gym locker room salt. Flashing lights and robotic voices asking "CONTINUE?"
Gin looks around the scene, searching for large crowds surrounding one game, making cheers and whistles to whoever was playing.
He pushed through the largest crowd and made his way to the nucleus, while listening to some of the comments people were saying.
"This kid is a genius gamer"
"He win first place if there was competition."
"I wanna play next!"
"He's kinda cute."
He finally reached the center and watch the boy his age play Street Fighter. His old gold hair is sticking up in one direction, as usual, as he sweats from the body heat but he's not pushing his sleeves up his arms.
"Akito! It's time to go home!" Gin gets close to the gamer's ear and stare at the screen Akito was looking.
"I'm in the middle of a fight." Akito doesn't turn around.
"But it's almost 11 P.M." Gin stand back straight.
"Who's that?"
"His boyfriend?"
"He's so cute!"
"Are they friends?"
"Come on! People are staring." Gin tugs on Akito's long sleeves.
"Don't care. I'm not done." Akito continues to play.
"I'm gonna drag you away." Gin threatens.
"No. You wouldn't." Akito smirks at Gin's threat.
"I warned ya." Gin grabs the collar of the gamer's shirt.
"Wai-" Akito was cut off by the impact of hitting the floor with his rear.
"I'm taking you home." Gin starts dragging his friend across the floor while the crowd watch.
"I don't wanna go home!" Akito yells as he's being dragged off into the night.
