Southern Cross

Federation and the Birth of a Capital (Part 1)

This is the first major historical story arc which ran from 2011 to 2012! It tells the story of how and why Canberra is the capital of Australia instead of Sydney or Melbourne. It's actually a pretty ridiculous story whether you make a comic out of it or not.
I split it in half for tapastic so that it isn't too long. Part 2 will be up shortly!

Southern Cross is a gijinka/moe anthropomorphisation comic about Australia, starring its eight capital cities Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Darwin, Adelaide and Perth. Sometimes a comedy and sometimes a drama, it retells Australian history and trivia in a ridiculous way. How much do you know about Australia...?
