And as we pulled up to Rin's house, which we used every year for my party since its the biggest house, our suspicions were confirmed. We both looked at each other and rolled our eyes.

           She slowed to a stop in her drive way and she looked over at me. "Don't let what I said earlier ruin the night..." She looked down at the steering wheel. He knuckles were turning white from holding so tight.

           I put my hand on hers so she would relax her hand. She did but only slightly. "Rin." She looked over at me. "You don't need to worry. I'm just glad you can tell me this... Most people, if they didn't care, wouldn't. So I know you do. And I'm glad. I'm glad you can be honest with me. That is all I will ever ask of you. As a girlfriend... I know it's too early for you and I completely understand. Love isn't something you should rush."

           I squeezed her hand. "Lets get in there then." She replied with a smile. "We have a birthday to celebrate." She leaned over to me and kissed me.

           We both climbed out of the car and went inside. "HaPPy BIRthdAY!!!!!!!" Everyone yelled together.

           People started coming up to me congratulating my while Rin popped open a bottle of wine. She poured us both glasses and toasted. "To getting older and wiser." I laughed.

           "Older yes, wiser? No." I replied. We both laughed at that and sipped our wine.

           "Hey Jill." Izabel walked up to us.

          I glared at her and grabbed Rin's free hand. "Izabel. What are you doing here?"

           "I came to apologize. I didn't realize that you and her were a thing. I mean I knew you were a little weird but I didn't expect that you would be gay." She lowered her voice to a whisper and moved closer to me. "And besides there are so many other girls at the school who would be so much more worth your time."

           "How dare you." I yelled at her. "How dare you come to my party and insult my girlfriend. You have absolutely no right. You have two choices. You either leave while I'm still slightly calm, or I'll ruin the work your doctor did to your nose."

           She glared at me. Everyone in the house went quiet and were all staring at Izabel. "What makes you think you can touch me?" She scowled at me. "You wouldn't hurt anyone. Your weak."

           I clenched my fist and bunched her in the jaw. She staggered back and bumped into a couple. "Oops." The girl said and 'accidentally' spilt her drink on Izabel's outfit. "Oh." I said. "That looked expensive. Oh well."

           "Bitch! You are going to regret that." She growled at me and stomped out of the house.

           Rin threw her arms around me. "Thank you."

           "Your welcome angel." I replied and hugged her back.
