This apartment is my home now, Ru.
I know we promised that we'll make our broken home paradise. But you can rest in peace now since I'm not gonna suffer anymore now that Mom and Dad are in jail. I can live the life we wanted, but I guess some things can't be changed.
The complex is overflowing in garbage and residents. During my first day here, the father of a family of 5 walked up to me and started giving me a lecture on parties and how I shouldn't throw one at all. His wife came by and started accusing me of taking their 15-year-old daughter's virginity. I told them I just moved here, but she wouldn't listen.
On day 2, the paint on my bedroom walls started coming off. I tried to tape it back on so I wouldn't see the brick wall, but only more came off. I gave up.
I started heading to school, but the same wife came up to me, asking where I'm going. I told her school, but she didn't believe me.
"School? Someone stupid as you go to school? Funny, now get your ass back in your place and stay there." I ignored what she said and ran out of the building, would be lovely id that happened. Instead, I ran, got down to the ground floor and trip over some jerk's garbage that never properly threw away. Luckily, it was just cans; unluckily, it was beer cans, so I vomited from the smell.
Day 3 finally started, and woke up to siblings, couples, and neighbors fighting. Ru, you must be worried, but I'm okay. I went to school without a problem, but coming back was hell. Some 10-year-old girl asked me if I have "the good stuff", which I respond with vomit. She yelled for her parents after I vomited, and happened to be the same husband and wife who got pissed at for no reason. They thought I was drinking.
Day 4 was peaceful since I invited Aiko to hang out after school. The only bad thing was tje constant knocking on my door cause they thought me and Aiko were gonna do it and didn't want to hear it since the walls are thin. The only stupid thing they said that the walls are thin, which is not true since it's made of brick and crappy wallpaper, which wasn't paint.
Day 5 has to be my favorite day. The landlord came by and told all of us to clean up the place. I started on the ground floor, wearing a mask to cover my nose, but some random jerk though it was funny to push me into some mushy garbage. The smell got through my mask and made vomit again. There's a lot of vomiting lately.
Sure, there's overflowing garbage and the people here are assholes, but I'm gonna have to get used to it. The more I think about, the more it's actually was better here than home. The best thing here is that it's near the cemetery. I get to visit you everyday.
