Shopping with Mom

She was really nice to me the rest of the time we were there. She almost completely ignored my mom. (She redeemed herself by asking about mom's necklace when we were checking out.)
It took me aback that she thought I was in high school. (At least I hope she didn't think I was in middle or elementary.) I'm tiny and look young, (my face hasn't really changed since I was 5) but it's been so long since someone said something that indicated they thought I was much younger than I am that I wasn't expecting it. I mean waitresses and waiters haven't offered me a kids menu in a couple years.
As a side note, I don't get carded near as often as my appearance warrants.
