It is 1851, and the political experiment known as America is about to come to a head, as the events begun at an infamous tea party accelerate towards Civil War. A bloody and brutal battle is on the horizon, but it is only a pale reflection of the true struggle waged in the dusty corners of this world.
There lies a mining town on the shores of Lake Superior, upon a disused and ragged edge of the map, which plays unwilling host to all manner of strange occurrences. A foulness from far beneath earthly stone rises to steal the yearly harvest from hungry mouths, and the thin line of blood and bone between it and the pulsing throat of humanity is the last defender mortal men would suspect...
The Werewolf.
More specifically, two werewolves. Actually, four in total if you count the little ones. Call it three and a half even. Plus a witch, a warlock, and a regular ol' human badass. Still, not all that much when the survival of your species is on the line.
It's not an pleasant job, but someone has to do it. Probably. Honestly, things are a little fuzzy on that point, check back later. In any event, welcome.
