In this third installment of the Flare and Fire saga, Heolstor, unbeknownst to Flare, appears only to offer a deal that he may or may not refuse. After this, Flare, his family and mentor has a few issues of their past that needs to be settled. Family drama is never a fun thing...
After these things, Flare can finally compete in a long and difficult event against four other competitors, but the battle isn't the event itself, but it is against himself. Flare cannot let his timidity and self-doubts get the best of him especially when there could potentially be another war against the Dragon Slayers after the event. Flare and his friends may not even get a chance to go to Acirema as they had planned because anything could happen.
