Yeah that's right, That entire first chapter was a flashback dream!
So just to make sure everyone's on the same page (Because I did get asked this a few times)
Most of this comic takes place adjacent to Super Mario Bros. 3, so while the events of that game are happening this comic follows Peach. The First Chapter took place at the tail end of Super Mario Bros. 1 and Mario Bros. 2 (USA) was all a dream after all (Or was it?) SO it's been a few years since the end of Chapter 1.
