“yeah, everything's okay, and thanks for telling me where paps went.”
Sarah looked over at me. “Sans said he wouldn't care if I died.” She said, then turned and walked away.
“Why’d you tell her that?” I asked him, a distressed look on my face.
Sans sighed. “i don't know, alright. just give me some space for a while.” Sans headed off to his room.
I looked at his door, worried. He usually didn't act this way. He usually hated to be alone. Of course, he’s got a lot on his mind right now. I left the house and started walking to Alphys’s place. She had always been good friends with Sans. Maybe she could help him out.
I walked up to the large metal building and knocked on the door. “Hello? Is anyone here?”
Alphys opened the door. “O-oh hi Frisk!”
“Hey Alphys.” I said, stepping inside. “What’s up?”
“The ceiling, the sky, actually there are a lot of things that are ‘up’.”
I laughed. “I meant figuratively, not literally.” I said, smiling.
“Yeah, I kind of figured. Anyway, what brings you here?”
“Sans… isn't doing too well.” I said, deciding how to bring up Toriel. “You see, um, we were attacked. By Flowey and Chara.”
“O-oh my god! Are you alright?!”
“Most of us are.” I said, looking down. “Sans protected us, but… Toriel. She’s dead.”
“O-oh my GOD! Who's going to tell Asgore?!”
“Crud. I didn't even think about that. Where’s he even staying right now?” I asked Alphys impatiently. I came here to help Sans, not talk about this.
“Uh, actually I think he lives just down the street.” Alphys said.
“D-do you think we should go tell him right now?” I said. “Wait. Let's have Undyne do it. That way if Asgore gets mad, no one will be killed in the process.”
“O-ok. Um… So is there something that you wanted to ask me?” Alphys asked.
“Yeah. Like I said, Sans just… snapped. He got really mad, and I was thinking maybe you could talk to him?”
“R-really? Yeah, sure I guess I could do that. Actually, he called me earlier today and asked me if he could use the determination extractor in the true lab.I honestly don't know why he would want to go why he would go back down there...”
“Okay. Um, do you want to come over right now then? I'm worried if someone doesn't talk to him he’s going to end up doing something reckless.” I said.
“Shouldn't Papyrus talk to him? I really don't know what I would say to him.”
“He’s over at Undyne’s right now for their cooking lesson. Plus, Papyrus… kind of goes crazy sometimes. Plus, Sans needs help now.”
“O-okay. I'll go with you…”
